The Russian An-124 RA-82078, operated by Volga-Dnepr Airlines and stranded at Toronto-Pearson Airport since early 2022, has finally been seized by the Canadian government, with the intention of working to deliver it to the Ukrainian government. Image
“Should the asset ultimately be forfeited to the Crown, Canada will work with the Government of Ukraine on options to redistribute this asset to compensate victims of human rights abuses, restore international peace and security, or rebuild Ukraine.”

Wargonzo may be right (I hate saying that), and I think he confirms that Staromlynivka is a trigger point for the commitment of more strategic Russian reserves, in line with Russian defensive doctrine.

He does say that Makarivka was a "serious loss"
t.me/wargonzo/13183

It reads as a regular Wargonzo post, definitely cryptic to a degree.

"Now it is necessary to keep the enemy away from Staromlynovka. If the Armed Forces of Ukraine succeed, the situation may become critical" Image
The "it's all OK but we are definitely worried" is a trademark milblogger attitude.

Notably, almost every vehicle seen abandoned in this engagement a few days ago suffered a mobility kill alone. The crews almost certainly survived and evacuated.

At this point, the goal should be refitting said crews as quickly as possible and sending them back out.
NATO platforms are doing exactly what they should, keeping valuable personnel alive and unharmed.

If these individual units can't be recovered, new material should be prioritized for future deliveries.
The Russian tank crew isn't going to be fighting anymore after their turret toss, the Leopard/Abrams crew is going to be ready to go after their ammunition storage blows out the side and they walk away.

Solontsi, Kherson Oblast, has effectively become part of the Dnipro River, as floodwaters continue to rise nearly 36 hours after the Kakhovka dam breach.
Floodwaters have inundated a large portion of the low-lying areas of the City of Kherson, especially in the Ostrivska area.
