Staying as healthy as one can is a priority when one is ill. It will not only contribute to how sick one gets but how resilient one is and can recover from continued hits (and we know there will be continued hits). 1/n
My focus for years was using longevity approaches to manage chronic illness, with the justification that staying as young as possible was my best recourse while waiting for treatment/cure for #MECFS. 2/n
I have stopped waiting for the treatment/cure to come from outside with @remissionbiome but I still believe in the value of using healthspan/lifespan interventions as a way to manage illness resiliency in diseases that have no immediate chance of treatment/cure. 3/n
There are many pillars of managing chronic illness. Behavioral interventions like sleep and diet and relaxation methods are actually important. A drug might come along as save us (maybe) but it wont heal a lifetime of damage due to ignoring healthspan pillars. 4/n
Most people die w/ multiple chronic diseases related to lifestyle choices. I cannot imagine piling CVD or cancer or dementia on top of #MECFS. My goal is to ward against this with every ounce of ability I have. My function (however limited) is too important to risk. 5/n

Are you polyreactive? Do you have an undiagnosed autoimmune condition triggered by a virus? Knowing the answer to these questions is crucial as a safety step when doing the @remissionbiome protocol. @CyrexLabs array 14 mucosal is the first step.
Lets talk neurionflammation and brain fog! In addition to the @remissionbiome neuroinflammation protocol its worth getting tests and products from @ProdromeScience such as ProdromeGlia and ProdromeNeuro- they help support white and grey matter and myelin and neural function.
SUCCESS!!!! I healed the leaky gut. And not like a bit...but completely! I am jumping for excitement here! When we started @remissionbiome we knew that leaky gut and leaky BBB would be a major issue if present. You dont want nasties getting into the blood stream or brain. 1/n
So we set out to find tests that could help us assess leaky gut and BBB and settled on @CyrexLabs. We used array 14 mucosal as our baseline test as it tests for a wide range of antigens and also shows levels of leaky gut. 2/n
In Table 2 above you can think about an increasing picture of mucosal barrier dysfunction so high LPS is the first warning sign, then Occludin/Zonulin would be affected, then Actomyosin. ASCA/ANCA/Calprotectin are also key. When most/all are abnormal a real problem exists. 3/n
Got results of my @CyrexLabs Array 10: multiple food sensitivity panel. This is not something we are adamant about at @remissionbiome (unlike @biomesight and array 14 mucosal) but it is helpful. It uncovered some sensitivities I would never have caught w/elimination diet. 1/n
I was on the whole relieved. Fruits were mostly ok, meats and veggies mostly ok. The mucosal array 14 had flagged wheat, dairy, corn, and soy (but not eggs!) so I knew I had to dig deeper and array 10 was the logical next step. 2/n
I will get the array 3x and 4 (focusing in on gluten and wheat associated foods) at some time in the future as well. 3/n
The entire @remissionbiome protocol is public and freely available and open source. The only reason there is not a "one-pager" (YET) is that we are still testing it (and we will be testing it for the next year). 1/n
We have not even gotten the data back from the pilot study (so have nothing to analyze yet). There is 100% no mystery and all the pieces as of the pilot version are in the @RemissBiomeVids. The pilot protocol will be changing as we learn more. 2/n
One thing we have learnt is that if people do not do either proper prep (gut or mcas or pathogen) or have a pre-existing autoimmune condition they are much more likely to trigger negative side effects (like serious MCAS or autoimmune flare). 3/n
Before the 2nd round of @remissionbiome I am doing a "neurotoxin" cleanse. I am broadly following Dr. Klinghardt and @DrDan20000. This will be a 14 week pulse treatment. The focus will be mycotoxins + heavy metals + viral toxins + spike in the CNS. klinghardtacademy.com/images/stories… 1/n
The viral toxin-spike treatment outlined by @DrDan20000 involves Boron 6mg and Erythromycin 250mg TID as well as Budesonide inhaler + VitC (4g sublingual) + 40mg melatonin (sublingual). 2/n
The mycotoxin protocol will be cilantro + chlorella + garlic + a few combo herbs (Parasite cleanse and Bio-defense by harmonicarts.ca). Cilantro needs to be ramped up slowly and an algal binder is 100% necessary. 3/n
