5 Midjourney Pro Tips

I did me a lovely little poll and you all asked for general / technical tips, so here it is, lovies.

Some of these a quite basic but they are what help me the most for quality and workflow.

Do us a favor, like and RT this, my lovelies.

1 - Get to Q5

You may notice that in other people's prompts they have --q 5 instead of --q 2, and further, that if you try to add this to your prompt, it will get overridden.

To fix this you can specify the higher quality with the "/prefer suffix new_value" command. Image
2 - Blend better

If you set your quality settings as seen on #1, this will also effect the quality of /blend command as well.

I didn't know what to put here as a picture, so enjoy this picture of a duck. (prompt in the alt) 🤷‍♂️ a happy cute pixar duck --v...
3 - One more time

If you still have fast hours, you can make use of the "--repeat X" modifier, which, you guessed it, repeats the same prompt X amount of times. Image
4 - Getto "Fast repeat" on desktop with or without fast hours

I'm not sure how many people know this, but if you place your cursor in the message window on any discord chat and press the up key on your keyboard then enter, it will autofill your last command/message. Image
5 - See all your results/describes in one search.

On desktop, in the top right of your Midjourney bot DM on discord, you have a lovely little search window. Search for "/imagine" to see all of your generations, and "/describe" for all of those. Image

Can #DALLE3 make sprite sheets for animations?

Well, you tell me. Details on how this was made in the thread.

"Angry Anime Girl Fights and Falls Over"

#AI
I generated the original sprite sheet with this prompt:

sprite sheet 20 fps full run cycle of a tiny angry anime girl with blue hair, detailed, incredible, awesome colors, exciting Image

360 panoramas from #Midjourney quick explainer thread:

(this is going to be VERY rough)

@midjourney
Prompt in the alt of the image below.

What you want to do is look for images where the world is "bowed" out towards you like the image below.
You'll have to bring this into photoshop or some video editing software and make the horizontal seam not quite as noticeable.

I have tried using --tile to automate this, but I was never able to get a usable result.

Been a while since I revisited the citrus rabbit hole.

Used the describe function on a picture of my backyard again, tried generating one of the results with the new version and now I'm getting pictures like this.

I wonder how deep this goes. ImageImage

A thread about clarity.

When you were a child, did you ever get the sense of being able to slip into a dream?

When you're outside, and the wind picks up, and you hear it dancing with the trees. You could hear this rising tide. Image
Like an ocean. Receding and returning. Like water. Like your own breath.

Seeing the light filter in, near sunset. Maybe there were other children around, talking, yelling. Image
And then the wind rises and the sounds of everyone else faded away. And in that moment you were utterly alone.

Not afraid. Not lost. But found. Feeling the warmth of the setting sun on your face and the wind cooling you. Image
