these ten days.”
They said:
“Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?”
He said:
“Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out himself for jihad taking his wealth with him and does not come back with anything.”
(Sahih Bukhari, 2/457)
The best dhikr on these ten days are,

Allahu akbar
“These ten days are better than all the other days of the year, with no exceptions, not even the last ten days of Ramadan. But the last ten nights of Ramadan are better, because
they include Laylat al-Qadr ("the Night of Decree"), which is better than a thousand months. Thus the various reports may be reconciled.”
(Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 5/412)
Allah says,
"By the dawn; by the ten nights"
[Al-Fajr 89:1-2].
Ibn 'Abbas, Ibn al-Zubayr, Mujahid and others of the earlier and later generations said that this refers to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
Ibn Kathir said: "This is the correct opinion."
(Tafsir Ibn Kathir, 8/413)
Fasting on the day of Arafah which is the last day of Dhul Hijjah a day before Eid al-Adha expiates the sins of last year and coming year.
The prophet ﷺ said,
“It expiates for the sins of the previous year and of the coming year.”
(Sahih Muslim)
Fasting is mustahabb for those who are not on Hajj during day of Arafah. Those who are in hajj don’t have to fast. Treat these blessed days like the days of Ramadan and isolate yourself to please Allah.
May Allah accept it from us.

hopeful one and the things he hopes for, before you are trapped with your deeds in the grave.

We have to question ourselves every day if we are munafiq or not and not to get too comfortable.
When the prophet ﷺ died he left the list of hypocrites with Hudhayfah and Umar ibn al-Khattab used to ask him nervously if his name was on the list and Hudhayfah used to tell him
he was not on it and Umar was relief. Look at the state of the Sahabah despite Allah mentioning them in the Quran with guidance and they still were afraid of being munafiq. If Umar the one the prophet ﷺ said that if Allah was to reveal Quran after me to someone it would be Umar
was afraid of being munafiq then let’s look our current state. Today I don’t think we even check ourselves being free from munafiq especially when people post ibadah on social media, people praying past the times of prayer without excuses, people sleeping past fajr when they have
Advice to my brothers who are in the streets take it from me and my experiences🧵
I’m only telling you this because I didn’t had no one to tell me better when I was wilding in the streets. I was at the stage you at now once in my life with all the money, cars, crib, designers and trust me that life might seem good but is a life truly run by shaytan. Life
dedicated to disobedience to Allah is the worst way to live and dying upon that state whatever consequences that come with it we can only blame ourselves.
I was blessed by Allah with the best of guidance through incarceration and to this day wallahi I’m grateful to the Lord of
“Many have turned seeking knowledge into an aesthetic and to be honest it shows that they haven’t really studied properly.”
Then this quote comes to mind
Ḥabīb b. ʿUbayd – Allāh have mercy on him – said:
“Learn knowledge,
understand it and benefit from it (live by it); and do not study it in order to decorate yourself with it, for if you live long you will likely see a time when knowledge will be used for beautification like a man beautifies himself with his garments.”
[Ibn Al-Mubārak, Al-Zuhd wa Al-Raqāʾiq no. 1056]
The quote above we see it today where some people seek knowledge to show off, to look down on others and to be argumentative to sound knowledgeable. Seeking knowledge is a trend now but for the wrong reasons not all ofc.
