When making dua call upon Allah with certainty, without distraction🧵

The prophet ﷺ said,

“Call upon Allah with certainty that He will answer you. Know that Allah will not answer the supplication of a heart that is unmindful and distracted.” [Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3479

And in another narration the prophet ﷺ said,

“The hearts are vessels and some have greater capacity than others. When you ask from Allah Almighty, O people, then ask Him while you are convinced…

The grave welcoming the believer, the wicked worshipper or the disbeliever

Abu Sa'eed narrated:

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered his Musalla and saw the people who looked as if they were smiling. So he said: 'Indeed, if you were to increase in remembrance of the severer of pleasures, then you would find yourselves too busy for what I see. So increase in remembrance of death, the severer of pleasures. For indeed there is no day that comes upon the grave except that it speaks, saying:

Don’t lose hope during trials,

“Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…”

(Qur’an, 2:286)

No trials is burdensome but rather a mercy from Allah since trials expiate our sins. Sometimes you feel like the help of Allah won’t come but is closer than we think since Allah promised not one but two ease,

“Then indeed with hardship comes ease. Indeed with hardship comes ease.”

(Quran 94:5-6)

When ease comes it will come one after another in ways you can’t imagine.

‘Call on me, I will answer your prayers...’🧵

is reported that Ibrahim b. Adham Allah have mercy on him – once passed through the market of Basrah.  People gathered around him and asked:

Abû Ishâq, Allâh the Exalted says in his Book. Call on me, I will answer your prayers’, but we have been calling on Him for a long time and He does not answer our prayers.

Ibrahim b. Adham - Allah have mercy on him - replied,

“O people of Basrah, your hearts have died in respect to ten things: First, you know Allah but you

Dhikr for Dhul Hijjah

SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha ill-Allah and Allahu Akbar.

Sincere Istighfar
Make plenty of dua
Fast and recite the Quran
Pray the night prayers
Hajj if you can afford it
Umrah

Hasten to do good works, before death strikes, before one can regret one’s negligence and failure to act, before one is asked to return to a place where no prayers will be answered, before death intervenes between the

Increase your Istighfar in these blessed 10 days Increase your dhikr including reciting the Quran. Pray the night prayers. Make plenty of Du’a. Be kind to your parents and people.

Fast all 10 days, pray the night prayers, do a lot of dhikr, recite Quran and make plenty dua, your duas getting accepted has a high chance in this blessed 10 days of Dhul Hijjah.

The prophet ﷺ said,

“There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”

They said:

“Not even jihad for the sake of Allah?”

He said:

“Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out himself for jihad taking his wealth with him and does not come back with anything.”

(Sahih Bukhari, 2/457)

A Hadith MT should adhere to

The prophet ﷺ said,

“Part of the perfection of someone's Islam is his leaving alone that which does not concern him." 

(Ibn-Majah: 2518)

“This hadith states that a believer should avoid things that are of no concern to him. They are of no benefit to this life nor to the hereafter, in terms of belief, speech or actions, in justifying this point.”

Excited for Dhul Hijjah Tabarak Allah

The prophet ﷺ said,

“No good deeds can be done at a time better than these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.”

It was said,

“Not even jihad in the way of Allah?”

The Prophet ﷺ said,

“Not even jihad in the way of Allah.” [Al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 10307]

Anas bin Malik narrated that 
The Prophet ﷺ said,

“Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering Allah until the sun has risen, then he prays two Rak’ah, then for him is the reward like that of a Hajj and Umrah.”

He said:

“The Messenger of Allah said: “Complete, complete, complete.'”

[At-Tirmidhi and graded Hasan by al-Albani in Saheeh Tirmidhi no. 586]

The hadith does not mean that the one who does that has performed Hajj and umrah and is no longer obliged to do them. You still have to do hajj physically which is wajib if

“Verily, if a servant is destined for a rank he has not achieved by his good deeds, Allah puts him to trial in his body, or his wealth, or his children. Then, Allah makes him endure it until he reaches the rank decreed for him.” [Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 3090}

Utbah b. Ghazwān – Allah be pleased with him – once gave us a sermon. He praised Allah, then said:

“The life of this world has announced its departure and is quickly turning away, and nothing remains of it save the likes of the last drop of water in a vessel as its possessor tries to catch it. You are moving on to an abode that has no end, so move on with the best [deeds] that you have. For it has been said to us that a rock can be dropped from the edge of Hell and fall for seventy years without reaching the bottom. Yet, by Allah, it will be filled.

Take care of your Hereafter, Allah takes care of the rest

The Prophet ﷺ said

“Whoever is concerned about the world, Allah will disorder his affairs, make poverty appear before his eyes, he will not get anything from the world but what has been decreed for him. Whoever is concerned about the Hereafter, Allah will settle his affairs, make him content in his heart, the world will inevitably come to him.”

If you wronged someone without them knowing then it’s wajib upon you to repent to Allah and to make dua for that person and speak well of him or her. And if they find out then you should go to him or him ask them to forgive you.
