I would like to tell my experience with Arabs, In-Sha-Allah. (I have lived in Kuwait for around 12 years, and this year I stayed in Saudi Arabia for 40 full days this year, Alhamdulillah.) #Kuwait #SaudiArabia
1st, the ground reality with racism in GCC countries is as much true as it is for Indian Muslims amongst each other. I have been denied assistance from Muslims in Ind, while travelling, seeking jobs, etc., just bcz 'I wasn't from Xyz race' or 'I wasn't from abc language group'.
2nd,when I was in Kuwait, 33% of them were racists thinking Indians and Non-Kuwaitis were pests, 33% just tolerated us, 33% made us feel we were Muslims, they literally 'hugged & helped' us. (Many beautiful memories from Kuwait, it'll take a long thread to write them.)
3rd, something that you'll find with all races, you speak their language they'll love you! When I was in Saudi Arabia this time, as soon as I spoke Arabic (Fusha+ some Aamiya to sound local 💪🏻), they way they looked at me changed and they wanted to talk more.
.... Saudi police, army personnel, the common Thawb wearing Saudi who looks like he'll eat up any poor foreigner (stereotypes!), all will speak very humbly to you, if you speak in their language.
To be very honest, if you even angrily scold the Saudis, "Switch off the music boy! It's Haraam, the Prophet ﷺ prohibited it!! " in Arabic, he'll silently switch it off and stay silent. (Try doing this with some Hyderabadi or Pakistani uncle and see the reaction 💥🩹🤕...)
4th, It's true that apparently the Europeans treat their foreigners better than GCC Arab countries. They treat you well to inject some poison into you, LGBTQ... You hit your child, and he's not yours anymore, you teach your kids...
... you teach your kids 'too many' Islamic values, and they'll take the child away from you. However, take a belt & wack your son outside the Masjid in Saudi or Kuwait, &the Arab will just say, 'Shunu sawwi hina? Roh Bayt ya Abdallah!' (What your doing here? Go home Oh Abdullah?)
5th, there are bad apples everywhere. Regardless... in any Muslim country, the scholars love and respect other Muslims, migrants or natives. There may be a few exceptions again, but overall those who know 'Islam' love Muslims.
6th. Bitter pill. Before the oil revolution, no one loved living in the GCC Arab states, I know my friends' parents who had the opportunity to buy Saudi/UAE passports for less than 20 Riyals. But they shrugged the idea off because, 'Who would live in that desert!?'
Today, when they've oil and riches, many of us have newfound love of staying in the GCC Arab states. Of course some are sincere in their desire to live there, but most are attracted now because they've the Duniyah with them.
7th. An advice. Make Dua to Allah sincerely, that Allah opens up the hearts of our GCC rulers to open up avenues for easy residency and citizenship. And that Allah guides them to aid Islam and the Muslims.
8th. GCC countries aren't the only Muslim countries in the world (Read 3x times). There are other easier options as well. Let's love all of our lands regardless of whatever their economical state is, and chose the best from the numerous options.
9th. Never will the European non-Muslims be pleased with you no matter how much you would like them to. Accept the fact, Muslims and Muslim lands generally >>>>> Europe, any given day.
10th. Met many reverts who left the West for the GCC or Muslim Africa, they said, (Wallahi!) 'the west is a garbage dump which comes with racism, Islamophobia, rampant shootings, open drug abuse, nakedness and insecurity of life. We ran from it and will never return to it'.

For those who say that Arabs don't honour Non-Arabs (especially Indian & Pakistani Muslims), here's the answer. Banke Lal Sukhdev from Bilarya Ganj in Azamgarh (Uttar Pradesh, India) later known as Shaikh Ziya-ur-Rehman Azami. (Thread) Image
Born in 1943, in a Hindu family of 'Dhobis' (Washermen), in Uttar Pradesh (North India). His birth name was Banke Lal, father's name Sukhdev. In 1959, he read the book 'Satya Dharma (The True Religion)' by Shaikh Moududi (رحمه الله), and was motivated to read further into Islam.
He also attended Quran classes in the Hindi language, by a local teacher, and read The Qur'an translation in Hindi. This opened up his heart and he accepted Islam. He was oppressed in many ways to leave his new found faith, but it only made him a stronger Muslim.

Many brothers share such recitation plans, but hardly is anyone able to follow it! Why??? (Read on...) Image
Because most people, even Huffadh today, believe that reciting the Qur'an with proper Tajweed means reciting it slowly all the time. However, there are three modes of recitation: Tahqeeq, which is precise and methodical; Hadr, which is rapid yet follows Tajweed rules; ...
and Tadweer, which strikes a balance between the first two. These modes are allowed to cater to individual preferences and needs. The Qur'an encourages reciting with "Tarteel," which includes all these modes.

With respect to Muslims around the world Hijab has two meanings, one the Islamic meaning and second the cultural application of what they understand to be Hijab.
When people say that, for example, 'more Indian Muslim women wear Hijab that the Pakistani Muslim women', it should actually be understood like this. Most Pakistani women don't wear the Hijab anywhere, just a loose headscarf here and there. Whereas most Indian women...
Whereas most Indian women have taken the black burqa (long loose gown) and headscarf as a dress to be worn once outside the home, but when they're in family gatherings with non-mahrams, they're inappropriately covered, marriages likewise, as soon as they enter their colleges...

25th Ramadan 1260 C.E. was the memorable day when the Muslims under Sultan Saifuddin Qutuz (Rahimahullah) gave an astounding defeat to the Mongol forces in the Battle of Ain Jaloot, & saved Muslims from anhilation at Mongol hands. Let's read a summary of the great event... Image
The Mongol forces of the tyrant Genghis Khan wrecked havoc across Muslim lands. By 1258 CE (29 Jan to mid Feb) they ransacked Baghdad, literally burnt it down to the ground and killed every living creature within its walls, blood and human flesh piled up all over the city. Image
The Abbasid Caliph Al-Musta'sim Billah was brutally killed. All the books of the libraries of Baghdad were burnt or thrown into the Tigris river darkening it. It seemed that this was end of Islam and the Muslims, the Mongols seemed unstoppable... Image

Stories Of The Salaf Have A Profound Impact On The Minds Of The Children. (An experience)
I have habituated myself to narrate various incidents from the biography of the Prophets and specifically Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to my children, Alhamdulillah.
When I visited the site of the Battle of Uhud this year (Jan 2023) with my children. I was astounded to see their reactions to the site.

My younger son (5.5 yo) was eagerly asking me where is Musab bin Umair's (رضي الله عنه) flag which he carried on that day of Uhud.

Unauthentic narrations from Seerah & Tareekh [majorly from Shaikh Muhammad ibn Saleh Al-Munajjid’s islamqa.com, other sources will also be used and referenced.] {Thread will be continually updated.}
1. The chains of narration of the angel of death asking the permission of the Prophet ﷺ before taking away his soul are either weak or fabricated.

2. The Prophet ﷺ was not born circumcised, he ﷺ was circumcised on the seventh day according to Arab tradition.
