The ability of Bailey Bridge and later generations of combat bridging gear like the medium girder bridge to patch destroyed bridge infrastructure is so fundamental to Western Army's for over 80 years that it is beginning to look like the

...we have another mirror image assumption of Russian Army bridging capability, like we saw with pallets & mechanized logistics.
I have seen no social media pictures of Russian combat engineering like this Medium Girder Bridge over the partially destroyed Kazer River bridge

After 16 months in Ukraine, there have been a lot of really important destroyed bridges like the the #Antonivskyi and #Chongar, which should have seen the RuAF TMM-3 Heavy Mechanised Bridge patching damaged bridge sections, if had that capability.
7/
And if it doesn't have that bridge infrastructure patching capability that Western Military intelligence "mirror image projected" upon the Soviet & RuAF for 80(+) years.
What other gaps in Soviet & RuAF capabilities have Western intelligence, civilian & military, missed?🤯
8/
Be on the lookout for more such multi-generational, Patron-Client group-think, mirror imaging.
It is beginning to look like that is the Western intelligence "brand" when it comes to Russia.

⚡️⚡️⚡️The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully crossed the Dnieper in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge, there is a battle going on, the katsapis say.
The people bleating about "Where are the Wagner columns getting the fuel to get to Moscow?'' are pretending these things called truck stops don't exist and Wagner is unaware of their existence.
Look, when the Russian MoD started playing games with Wagner

supplies, and Wagner started trucking supplies from St Petersburg.
It gave Prigozhin's people the time and cover to map the semi-tractor trailer fuel supply chain between there and Rostov on the Don.
Prigozhin also put in local purchasing agents along the way.
2/
Purchasing agents with more than purchasing in their job description: think mafia expediter, road watcher and local informant.
In addition, Wagner has fought for years in Africa. There are no conscript backs there.
This means Wagner used & understands mechanized logistics.

Between this mutiny, the Chongar bridge strike & the destruction of the southern theater artillery reserve, many RuAF units in southern Ukraine will go bingo shells and fuel next week.
4/
If indeed Shoygu went to, and then ran from Rostov on the Don, it is because local RuAF ground units didn't obey orders to fight per pro-Wagner telegram channels.
That isn't switching sides.
It's worse.
5/
Putin & Shoygu doesn't know if they can trust any RuAF units to obey.
That is what happened in 1917 to the Russians.
I've been talking about the burn out of Russian Regime Security Forces since before the current Russo-Ukrainian War kicked off.
A Russian pontoon bridge crossings cannot support railway traffic.
And semi-tractor trailers are going to have a hard time negotiating the dirt approaches from the highway, that hairpin turn and the height clearance issues going under that bridge🤨
The Storm Shadow's BROACH warhead is multistage with a shaped charge forward warhead section for blowing a hole in concrete structure followed by a semi-armor piercing high explosive warhead section. 1/
