🌺।।The Story of Kashyapa Rishi।।🌺

Kashyapa Rishi was the son of Rishi Marichi and Kala. Marichi is one of the Manas Putra of Brahma Dev.

Kashyapa Rishi (Tarksya) is one of the prominent Rishis of the Vedic period.
He is also the progenitor of many orders of creation including demons, demigods, birds, animals, reptiles and other celestial beings. He is also considered to be Mantra Drasta of Rigveda (visionaries of Vedic hymns).
Kashyapa Rishi had 21 wives including Vinata (Suparna), Kadru, Patangi and Yamini. The concept of wife is attributed with 'ardhangini' literally meaning the other half of the body. The one which completes the man.
Rishi Kashyapa had married the 13 daughters of Prajapati Daksha (also a manas-putra of Daksha); Aditi, Diti, Danu, Arishta, Surasa, Khasa, Surabhi, Vinata, Tamra, Krodhavasha, Ida, Kadru and Muni.
Aditi’s sons were the twelve adityas; Vishnu, Shakra, Aryama, Dhata, Vidhata, Tvashta, Pusha, Vivasvana, Savita, Mitravaruna, Amsha and Bhaga.

Diti’s sons were the daityas (demons); Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakshipu, and amongst their descendants were several other powerful
daityas like Vali and Vanasura. Diti also had a daughter named Simhika who was married to a danava (demon) named Viprachitti. Their offsprings were terrible demons like Vatapi, Namuchi, Ilvala, Maricha and the nivatakavachas.
The hundred sons of Danu came to be known as danavas (Vritra). The danavas were thus cousins to the daityas and also to the adityas. In the danava line were born demons like the poulamas and kalakeyas.

Arishta’s sons were the gandharvas (singers of heaven).
Khasa’s children were the Yakshas (demi-gods who were the companions of Kubera, the God of wealth) and the rakshasas (demons).

Surabhi’s descendants were cows and buffaloes, cattle and eleven Rudras.

Vinata had 2 sons named Aruna and Garuda. Garuda became the king of the birds.
Tamara had six daughters. From these daughters were born owls, eagles, vultures, crows,water-fowl,hawks, moths, vultures, parrots and other birds.

Kadru’s sons were also known as nagas or snakes. Among the more important of Kadru’s sons were Ananta, Vasuki, Takshaka and Nahusha.
Muni gave birth to the apsaras (dancers of heaven).

Krodhavasha had fourteen thousand children known as nagas (snakes).

Ila gave birth to flora: trees, creepers, shrubs and bushes.
Surasa gave birth to the snakes (sarpa) or Simhika (demons like Namuchi and Vatapi). Timi (water creatures).

Diti’s children (daityas) and Aditi’s children (adityas) continually fought amongst themselves.

Kashyapa was also the progenitor of two sons Vatsara and Asita.
It is also said that he married Askikni (daughter of Virana) through him he begot Sage Narada. Kashyapa was also father of Vivasvat or Savitr) through his wife Aditi.

Sapta Rishis are mentioned in the context of Gotra, the organization of family lineages.
In the northern constellation of Ursa Major (the Dipper, the Great Bear, the Saptarishi Mandala) is identified as Kashyapa. It is said that after defeating the Kshatriyas, Bhagwan Parashurama gifted all lands he had captured to Kashyapa Rishi.
As per vedic inscription, Prajapati is a deity of procreation and protector of life. Upanishads and Mahabharata mentions about many prajaptis and Kashayapa is one among them. It is also said that Bramha created Parajapati from his mind so they are also called manas-putra.
As per Hindu cosmology, each Manvantara (a period of time) is presided over by a group of Sapta Rishis (Seven sages). There are fourteen such Manvantaras which together form a Kalpa. Kashyapa Rishi is one among the seven presiding Rishis of the seventh
Manvantara, called the Vaivasvata Manvantara, which is currently in progress. The present Kalpa is known as Sveta Varaha Kalpa.
🌺Vedic Philosophy🌺

The Vedic view of the universe and all entities in it, is that of energy and matter, whether it is a star, a galaxy, a plant, animal or human. And there are different energies, which in humans manifests as follows -
the higher level energies (purusha) that manifests varna like wisdom, nobility, industry, talent and so on that is the source of our orientation, and the material energies (prakriti) that manifests triguna, that is the source of our motivation.
It also views energies as perceptible and imperceptible or subtle (read other dimensional, the concept of loka). And the Gayatri Mantra (Rigveda 3.62.10) asserts that only the source of all energy in the universe, the unknowable infinite brahman,
is worthy of worship (and gives a technique to experience this).

However, to experience this, you need to assuage (manage, control) numerous other energies in the body - emotion (indra), thought (vayu), rage (rudra) - and use consciousness (agni)
as the intermediary to “speak with” the “source”.

And it uses natural phenomena like weather (thunder, rain, etc), wind, storms etc as analogies for these energies so we have a way to think about them.
The Veda converts this entire process into a physical ritual - the yajna - to explain its mechanics.

Spiritual traditions are entirely about practice and experience. No theory, no books, no institutions, no creed, no fundamentals are needed as all humans come
fully equipped at birth to understand the universe and be in direct communion with the infinite unknowable source and to experience its infinite truth, infinite knowledge, and infinite bliss.
Do you know Women Rishis (Rishika) in the Rig Veda Samhita; one or more mantra was revealed to each Rishika

⚜️Agni and Six Wives of the Saptrishi⚜️

Somehow, the six wives of the seven Rishis became the object of Agni’s obsession. Image
He approaches each of them to ask them to accept him, but they all turn him down. Agni sets out into the wilderness for rigorous penance, feeling depressed, repulsed, and embarrassed. One of the sage Daksha’s daughters, Swaha, became enamoured by Agni when she was in the woods. Image
But the defeated Agni turned down Swaha’s suggestion. When Swaha learned the real reason Agni rejected her proposal, she considered posing as one of the six wives of the Rishis. Every time she pretended to be Rishi’s wife, Agni would take her in before making out with her. Image

🌺।।We all dream but do you know what do our dreams interpret and whats their link with our Consciousness.।।🌺

Every dream that we see is based on the emotions and situations we are going through. Ancient Hindu scripture Agni Purana (ch 07) and Uttara Kamika Agama Image
(chapter 22, verses 1-6, 22-13, 60-65, and 105-110) in which Lord Shiva discusses the meanings of dreams.

Normally a disciple could have supremely auspicious visions in dreams during the night prior to the performance of an initiation or any other special ritual.
If such dream occurs in the first quarter of the night, the disciple would reap its benefit within one year. If it occurs in the second quarter of the night, the effect of the dream would materialize within six months.
