Most folks don't understand imprinting as a concept including many of our "leading experts."

The reason we know this is that imprinting is the reason hybrid immunity is not effective, while it does reduce the risk of death during acute...it does nothing for the 200+ LC symptoms.
We look at antibodies in most hybrid immunity studies very broadly as a concept...

When in reality antibodies are very specific to each variant... so while you might have high antibodies to COVID it does not mean it is protective against new variants.

This has been demonstrated
Imprinting is best connected to the immune memory response in concept.... when you have an antigen exposure that creates an imprint that your immune system recognizes and recreates upon reexposure.

After more antigen exposures, either vax or infection, then that rewrites itself.
So, if you have an infection to Delta and then later an infection with Omicron, the first response antibodies are going to be Delta antibodies and are going to be largely ineffective.

They should protect from death during acute phase, but they make your LC risk higher...
And what we are not talking about is that a COVID infection increases your risk by at least 5x per infection, which means if LC is in 100% of cases because this risk is consistent across all infections...

Then this is actually putting people at risk of death.
Now for mRNA, the antibodies are far more specific so imprinting is more of an issue... so again, it will protect from death, in most cases, but it will not protect from LC which has an associated risk of death.

Novavax does not have these issues because of Matrix-M.
While Novavax is still not perfect, its adjuvant shrinks the antigenic range between variants...

This mean that antibodies for Delta are going to work on Omicron if you had multiple Nova shots, three to be precise...

So moving forward we can assume the same thing will be true.
If you get XBB.1.5 antibodies and the virus continues to mutate... further Novavax shots will not only rebuild your antibody response, but it will also shrink the range between variants so that imprinting is less of an issue as your old antibodies work on the new variants.
If this sounds like magic to you, I don't blame you.

Matrix-M is a paradigm shift in how we look at both vaccines and public health...

But that being said this is a clear examination of why all the excitement about Hybrid immunity is not effective and our leaders don't get it.
In the same way that not all masks are good enough for COVID...

Not all antibodies are effective against COVID.

I said in Jan 2021 that there was no immunity to future variants from a current COVID infections...

And imprinting as a concept is the reason why that happens.
@joaquinlife that is correct
BTW, I said that Long COVID happens in 100% of cases earlier in the tweet and this is the correct way to think about LC... even though they are trying, again, really hard to define it for less folks...

We think of risk of LC wrong, it's risk of death not risk of disability...
The increased risk of death happens in every infection.

So if LC risk is based on increased risk of death...

Then it's 100% of cases.

And, last I checked, death is a LC symptom.

A lot of people have been confused about my statements about normally COVID conscious influencers minimzing the risk of Long COVID...

And someone pointed out that maybe we have different definitions of what Long COVID is.

It hit me like a truck, that's the whole issue...
You spend so long in the weeds on a subject that you forget how to communicate things and definitions are everything in this explanation.

Normally, we had established the definition of risk in regards to "damage to quality of life" and that risk was self diagnosed at 30%.
So, early on the questionnaires focused on how you felt different and usually used some type of scale to establish negative effect.

This was a broad and inclusive model that meant your risk hit 30% at 25 days of active infection, most infections are that long symptomatic or not

If you notice the anti Democratic Party propaganda kicked up super hard at the same time Bidens re-election campaign started…

That’s because they are the same thing, the anti DNC stuff before the primary is to protect the establishment.

It’ll all stop once the primary is over.
Just to be clear, the first voting that happens is the primary and if you want to replace Biden it happens there.

It can be done because we got rid of super delegates, but it cannot happen if we all feed the anti-democratic party trolls.

Neolibs hold control with a tiny group.
They use these trolls to convince you to not even try.

That's how the game is played.

The troll you see might believe what they are saying but the person they got it from is just like one of the anti-vaxxer leaders pushing antivaxxer talking points that mysteriously match ours.

Emergency call to action...

VRBPAC went well, but were not don

Making changes in vaccines requires two steps...

First the FDA meets for VRBPAC...

Then the CDC meets for ACIP...

This is the June 21-23rd Comments for ACIP close tonight at midnight Est
regulations.gov/commenton/CDC- Image
There are only 167 comments currently.

And it seems like we can do better than that.

If you want Novavax approval to change than this is your portal to create pressure at the next important meeting....

And the door is open for us... but how many are ready to take action?
Obviously that was supposed to be done not don....

but, oh well

Someone went to one of Tern's posts about the syncytia formation in the brain to remind him that it was what I had been saying& he said...

"Please don't, we've been talking about it since 2020"

Can someone remind him that Twitter banned people for talking about it until 2022?
My first account was banned for speaking about COVID in the brain & the final warning & ban came in Dec 2021.

We only had a single study & article showing COVID in the brain because they had just discovered the process to preserve it for autopsy.

Don't let them gaslight you...
Technically we did discover COVID was in the brain in late 2020.

But you were not allowed to talk about it on Twitter for another year.

And even then there was no discussion of syncytia formation or melting brain cells.

We just knew it was in there

The largest part of my LC article got validated by a major study today.

Just a quick reminder, that the vast majority of people who don't like me on this app do so because I have been making (successful) applications based on the theory.

They say I'm wrong in a variety of ways.
But as it turns out I am not wrong.

Now think about how many people they let get hurt because this theory couldn't be popularized earlier.

We could have protected vastly more people.

And they stood and continue to stand in the way of that.

Minimizing comes in many forms.
I have no interest in holding these people accountable or trying to get even with them.

As a matter of fact, I should just stop saying their names completely because it's just free advertisement.

But I hope we can move forward from this point with less doubt... please.

In a sick kinda way I kinda enjoy that a bunch of people who were attacking me just realized they were getting manipulated by the White House to create the scenario they wanted.

Come on y'all, I'm not mad but I don't want to have to talk about this again.

I consider it settled.
In all likelihood though I will probably talk about this again.

I'm just not that strong when it comes down to it.

Which is really more of a statement about how weak my opponent is.
BTW if you weren't sure ... this is shade.
