Just amazing, and shows who changed, and...who didn't.

In 2005, the NYT won a Pulitzer for exposing this illegal Bush/Cheney domestic spying. I wrote my first book on it.

Now, the NYT claims only the "hard-right" wants reforms, and heralds the program as vital to Our Safety™.
Yet again: the liberal media and political establishment are now drooling, devoted loyalists of the US Security State.

They cheer spying domestic programs they once indignantly denounced, and suggest only traitors and fascists want to limit FBI/NSA spying authorities.🤷‍♂️
That said, there are also some Dems - including Sens. @ossoff and @DickDurbin -- who are demanding reforms and limits to these spying powers before the law is renewed.

But long-standing left-liberal causes - free speech, civil liberties, etc. - now coded as "hard-right" views.
@ossoff @DickDurbin These labels have become empty parodies. They meaning increasingly little: just weapons.

RFK Jr. has a panoply of long-time left-liberal views. Here he is denouncing censorship by the US Security State. Yet the Atlantic christens him a "MAGA Democrat."

Is this a left-wing or a right-wing view?

What's more -- to use the words of the NYT -- "hard right" here: demanding that the FBI/NSA's domestic spying powers be renewed yet again with no reforms or limits (as the Biden WH is doing), or saying this?

Tonight on @SystemUpdate_, live at 7pm ET:

How Endless War is bankrupting the US, leading establishment outlets to warn Americans of imminent "painful choices" for their lives.

Plus: France prepares to ban social media and use cellphones to spy:

rumble.com/v2yi1b6-system…
That massive war spending harmed Americans' quality of life was once so clear it needed no debate.

Now, this neoliberal rag just accused RFK Jr, myself and others of being - all together now - "Kremlin propagandists" for arguing it. We'll discuss this.

The NYT - which has steadfastly supported Biden's proxy war in Ukraine and the $100 billion for it - just warned Americans the country is drowning in debt and they need to prepare for cuts to Social Security and Medicaid. No mention of war spending:

This ruling is so vital. The first to:

1) acknowledge the systemic program of the US Govt to pressure/coerce Big Tech to censor for it;

2) apply established 1st Am principles that the state is barred from pressuring private actors to censor for it;

3) banned its continuation:
This NYT article is so remarkable: it now praises as Vital to Our Safety the NSA's domestic warantless spying program that the NYT itself exposed in 2005, but also:

Admits the "new generation" of the GOP opposes US Security State powers, while new Dems revere the CIA/NSA/FBI:

This is the radical change in US politics that most establishment liberals and corporate media figures can't see.

It's what explains why Dems are in bed with neocons; why they revere the US Security State; and why they defend an online censorship regime run by DHS, CIA and FBI.

In reporting on the ruling barring FBI and Biden officials from pressuring Big Tech to censor, the NYT says:

"The issue of the government’s influence over social media has become increasingly partisan."

Yep: Dems want state censorship of the internet.

nytimes.com/2023/07/04/bus…
In fact, Democrats overwhelmingly favor corporate censorship of the internet as well as government censorship of the internet, all in the name of combating "disinformation."

Imagine trusting tech billionaires and the FBI/CIA to decree truth and falsity.
Hello, @SenMarkey: when it comes to Big Tech censorship of the internet, is it the view of the Democratic Party that they are censoring too much political speech, or that they are censoring too little?

I can't overstate how subservient corporate media is to the US Security State.

This person, @ryanjreilly, made himself a thinly disguised FBI agent by trying to hunt down anyone at Jan 6. He got hired by NBC as a reward.

Now he's complaining FBI doesn't do enough censoring:
The problem: millions of American liberals are trained to see US history as beginning in 2016, with Trump.

That's why they love neocons and Bush/Cheney operatives.

And it's why they don't see how bizarre it is that "journalists" are the loudest activists *for censorship.*
One reminder:

A key taboo in journalism was you never expose your source to the FBI. You're expected to go prison even if they try to force you.

But an unwell Russiagate blogger *voluntarily* ratted out her own source to FBI, and corporate media *celebrated* this as noble.

In the pantheon of neocon monsters and sociopaths, Elliott Abrams resides in the top tier: supporting death squads, criminally concealing evidence, cheerleading every war from a safe distance.

It's also completely unsurprising that Biden chose him for this position:
CNN gently describes him as someone "with a controversial past in Latin America." 😂

That's because CNN is filled with CIA/FBI operatives who participated in and supported the same crimes.

But what it really shows is how in bed Dems are with neocons:

The reason the DC bipartisan foreign policy class has trained liberal imbeciles like this one to focus obsessively on the bad acts of faraway foreign governments is to prevent them from focusing on the monsters and criminals empowered by Biden:

The Atlantic -- under neocon conspiracy theorist Jeffrey Goldberg, funded by billionaire DNC donor Laurene Jobs -- is Ground Zero for:

1) Laundering insane conspiracy theories to advance establishment liberalism;

2) Accusing establishment critics of being conspiracy theorists.
Jeffrey Goldberg has more blood on his hands than anyone in media except Bill Kristol. He helped lie the US into every war.

That the person who convinced Americans Saddam was involved in 9/11 rose to the top of establishment media indicts it more than anything I could ever say.

Forget that the Atlantic is owned by one the largest donors to Hillary and DNC: Steve Jobs' billionaire widow.

Goldberg quickly recruited every other neocon, warmongering liar to the Atlantic: David Frum, Anne Applebaum, etc. And he hired CIA conspiracy Queen Natasha Bertrand.
