One of the zillion federal agents now employed by NBC News, @BarbMcQuade, spent weeks before the 2020 election spreading the CIA lie that the Hunter Biden laptop was "Russian disinformation."
She now has a book on disinformation: like Dick Cheney writing a book on human rights:
To be fair, I suppose someone who constantly spreads CIA disinformation campaigns while employed by large media corporations is, in a sense, an expert on disinformation.
But they should be writing a handbook on how to do it, not a screed against it:
Attacking Trump by saying he's unwilling to cut Social Security -- as Christie is doing -- seems like a nice gift to Trump.
All these guys who cheer every war, who want to spend trillions and/or send kids from other people's families to combat, also want to cut Social Security.
What Chris Christie is doing is incredibly obvious.
The easiest way to get rich and get media gigs in US politics is to constantly attack Trump. It rehabilitates the worst criminals, turns them into liberal stars. That's what his "campaign" is for:
The top priority of the bipartisan US Foreign Policy establishment and CIA -- by far -- is fueling the proxy war in Ukraine.
There was a grand total of one TV host in corporate media vehemently and vocally opposed to that policy.
But then he got fired, so now there is none.
In 2003, there was a grand total of one TV host in corporate media opposed to the Iraq War: Phil Donahue. He got fired, despite being the top-rated show on MSNBC, leaving none.
(There are a couple Fox hosts still opposed but nowhere near the level of stridency of Carlson was).
I suppose you can believe - if you really want to - that it was just a gigantic coincidence that Fox in 2023, like MSNBC in 2003, fired its top-rated host who was by far the most vocal opponent of the key bipartisan war policy.
That massive war spending harmed Americans' quality of life was once so clear it needed no debate.
Now, this neoliberal rag just accused RFK Jr, myself and others of being - all together now - "Kremlin propagandists" for arguing it. We'll discuss this.
The NYT - which has steadfastly supported Biden's proxy war in Ukraine and the $100 billion for it - just warned Americans the country is drowning in debt and they need to prepare for cuts to Social Security and Medicaid. No mention of war spending:
This NYT article is so remarkable: it now praises as Vital to Our Safety the NSA's domestic warantless spying program that the NYT itself exposed in 2005, but also:
Admits the "new generation" of the GOP opposes US Security State powers, while new Dems revere the CIA/NSA/FBI:
This is the radical change in US politics that most establishment liberals and corporate media figures can't see.
It's what explains why Dems are in bed with neocons; why they revere the US Security State; and why they defend an online censorship regime run by DHS, CIA and FBI.
In fact, Democrats overwhelmingly favor corporate censorship of the internet as well as government censorship of the internet, all in the name of combating "disinformation."
Imagine trusting tech billionaires and the FBI/CIA to decree truth and falsity.
Hello, @SenMarkey: when it comes to Big Tech censorship of the internet, is it the view of the Democratic Party that they are censoring too much political speech, or that they are censoring too little?
