IT's take on the world and God is as follows: 1) the earth is surrounded, from all directions by the sky. Bcoz this is the case, U can't really say the sky is at any point below the earth. 2) The 1st sky is encompassed by the second sky 3) and like that until the throne of Allah_
_which encompasses all the creation 4) God is literally above the throne and is greater in size, and might that the throne 5) there's no issue with him if we ascribe Mumฤssah (touching), Julลซs (sitting), Thiqal (heaviness) to God 6) God has a hadd (limit) in his Thฤt (being)_
_from all directions 7) Whatever direction U point to, God is there bcoz God encompassed all creation with his being 8) God is not in his creation, He is outside his creation, with a literal limit.
All of this can easily be found in the works of IT, especially_
_in ุฏุฑุก ุงูุชุนุงุฑุถ ู ุชูุจูุณ ุงูุฌูู ูุฉ .
So, if that's the case, how is what I mentioned ignorance?

In a nutshell, I believe he was an ocean of_
_knowledge, who was devoted to the worship of Allah, he was liked my many, but he deviated away from the Sunni Aqeeda. He criticised many respected Sunni Aimmah, which caused the scholars to turn their attention to him and refute him. He was closer to the Karramiyyah in Aqeeda_
_than the Ahl-Sunna.
As Hฤfidh Waliyud Deen 'Iraqi said, after praising him for his Zuhd, 'Ibadah & knowledge:
"ุนูู ู ุฃูุจุฑ ู ู ุนููู"
"His knowledge was more than what his brain could comprehend."
Even Imam Dhahabi criticized IT's approach & critisizm in a small work of his :
"ุงููุตูุญุฉ ุงูุฐูุจูุฉ"

Do I make Takfeer of him?
No. I believe he is under the Mashฤซ'a of Allah, just as Imam Subki mentioned about Ibn Karram.
I also believe he repented from his ways, as was reported by Ibn Hajar in ุงูุฏุฑุฑ ุงููุงู ูุฉ.
Can we benefit from him?
Not for 'Awam or beginners in knowledge.

This is not some complex philosophical theory. It's common sense.
Similarly when speaking about Allah SWT, to ask whether He is INโฌ๏ธ or OUTโฌ๏ธ of his creation is nonsense, because IN & OUT are characteristics of finite, limited, bodies, & Allah is neither finite, nor limited, nor a body.
