⛔ No, Jews are not storming "Islamic shrines."

Let's talk about it. 🧵 Image
Many of Judaism's most important sites are located here. Image
You might hear this site referred to as the Ibrahimi Mosque, but it's also called:
🔹 Cave of Machpelah
🔹 Cave of the Patriarchs
🔹 Tomb of the Patriarchs Image
Rachel's Tomb is a holy site for Jews, Christians and Muslims alike. Image
Even in the last 24 hours, when PIJ gunmen opened fire on Jewish worshipers at Joseph's Tomb, outlets outrageously either completely ignored or tried to hide the Jewish significance of the site. Image
🕍 Eshtemoa was described as a large Jewish village during the Roman & Byzantine period.

🕍 The Jericho synagogue has a mosaic floor which incorporates Jewish symbols such as the Ark of the Covenant, the Temple Menorah, a shofar and a lulav. Image
The two headlines at the bottom of this image are just two of the many many many stories which talk of Jews "storming" or "performing provocative rituals" at "Islamic shrines." Image
Joseph is an integral figure within Judaism.

This was an outrageous decision by @UNESCO. Image
#TLDR: There's a reason it's called JUDEA and Samaria. Image

On Saturday, three IDF soldiers & an Egyptian officer were killed on the Israel-Egypt border.

Reports of all three soldiers dying in an “exchange of fire” are inaccurate.

We’ve selected the key events to build a clearer picture.

Here’s what the IDF & Egyptian military said: 🧵
The IDF said:

After a drug smuggling incident, an Egyptian policeman likely entered Israel alone through a small gate in the early hours of Saturday.

Sources: Times of Israel, IDF spox
There were shots “between 6 and 7,” which killed Sgt. Lia Ben nun & St.-Sgt. Uri Itzhak Ilouz.

The IDF soldiers did not return fire.

Why does @washingtonpost's Islamic Jihad profile feel like a whitewash of the terror group and a justification for its actions?

➡Islamic Jihad's commitment to Israel's destruction is omitted while this description of Israel leaves much to be desired. 🧵
washingtonpost.com/world/2023/05/… Image
Despite @MiriamABerger's claims:
➡Egypt also controls access via its Gaza border.
➡Israeli border crossings were closed for safety reasons. Terrorists actually attacked them on Saturday.
➡Israel has issued over 15k work permits to Gazans.
➡Hamas is also responsible for Gaza. Image
@washingtonpost fails to distinguish between combatants and civilians in either 2022 or 2023.
➡Most Palestinians who died in 2022 were killed while attacking Israelis while nearly all of the Israelis killed were civilians.

.@RepRashida is hosting Nakba Day at the US Capitol.

But what does Nakba actually mean?

Our @chaim_lax has the scoop 👇
In Arabic, the term “al-Nakba” means “the catastrophe.” In the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the catastrophe that the “Nakba” is referring to is the founding of the State of Israel in 1948 and the disintegration of Palestinian Arab society.
For those who adopt this narrative, the Zionist movement and Israel are solely responsible for the displacement of Palestinian Arabs between 1947 and 1949 while the Arabs, themselves, are the exclusive victims of the conflict.

It's less than a week since @nytimes told how Amnesty's Ukraine report was thoroughly discredited. (nytimes.com/2023/04/27/us/…)
So why would @satariano & @paulmozur trust Amnesty's latest to be any more reliable? Image
And yet they still parrot Amnesty's false apartheid charges against Israel despite a thorough debunking by @NGOmonitor @Aizenberg55.

Amnesty's report also relies on "evidence" supplied by its partner Breaking the Silence, another highly politicized NGO, whose advocacy director is quoted by @nytimes. honestreporting.com/breaking-the-s…

Victims of terrorism are NOT the same as terrorists.

So why did media outlets like @Reuters @CNN and @AFPmake a moral equivalence between the tragic murder of the Dee family and the death of a member of the Lions' Den terror group? Image
Victims of terrorism are NOT the same as Palestinian terrorists. Image
It's time for the media to stop minimizing Jewish blood and normalizing terror.

A wolf in sheep’s clothing. B’Tselem presents itself as a human rights organization; however, its one-sided propaganda advocates for the end of the Jewish State of Israel. Here's a look at some of the myths they propagate. [THREAD] Image
The NGO is known for spreading misinformation. Image
