it's not just some depraved neoliberal YouTuber. To this day the US government refuses to acknowledge that the atomic bombing of Japan and the killing countless innocent civilians was done purely to intimidate the Soviets and as a sick form of revenge, serving no military purpose
I haven't seen the Oppenheimer movie yet but I'm looking forward to it. A good film to accompany it is the brilliant "Hiroshima Mon Amour". When it was first released in 1959 they excluded it from the official selection at the Cannes Film Festival to not upset the US government
