In 2009 Paul Romer, a Stanford economics professor lectured on reviving colonialism, his justification was that rich countries should intervene in poor countries and lift them out of poverty. A 🧵👇🏻
But here’s the catch, the country to be ‘saved’ would have to fall under the rules of the colonizing country. It would have to follow new private rules that operated beyond the host Govts reach. Sunak was a student of Romer. References to @QuinnSlobodian Crack-Up Capitalism
Romer cited Hong Kong as a prime example of a ‘special administrated city.’ Hong Kong was colonized by the UK in the 19th century, China copied Hong Kong’s private governance rules which were forced on local residents by the UK. See where this is going yet?
It is telling that Brexit is now recolonizing the UK by using this model of anti-state governance and opting for massive infrastructural changes that leave out any form of public participation in decision-making, this is corporate governance replacing social governance.
There is only one shortcut to making Brexit work, that is with charter cities, this non-mandated decision is being forced in by anarcho-capitalists buoyed by both Tories and Labour in a class war. This model dates back to 1600 and the East India Company.
Here’s what’s happening in the UK right now. Sunak’s 12 Freeports are surrounded by special investment zones recently expanded up to 75km (fomented by Truss, now being installed by Hunt, Sunak lied when he said he'd scrapped them).
Gove has been quietly giving millions to devolved Govts so businessmen can install private deregulated Freeports, these will act as hubs for illicit activity that could not happen under EU laws and protections.
In England +350 Local Councils are experiencing engineered insolvency while simultaneously being merged into CCAs, this lays the foundations for private local governance, public assets are sold off cheap, venture capitalists make a killing.
Residents in the zones will then be forced to pay higher taxes to clean up the resulting pollution and experience decimation of small businesses as the sharks move in to set up big tech/agri/pharma/fracking, etc then reap profits without paying a penny to improve public services.
I strongly suspect the refugee's barges will be part of the new domestic supply of slave labour for companies like Dubai-owned P&O. The ‘leveling up’ project should be renamed ‘Startup Political Jurisdiction Project’.
Charter cities don’t have to be built, any city can be transformed to succumb to corporate governance. With the right deregulatory powers and corrupt domestic minions on hand, you can declare a region under private ownership and sell off land to external management...
UK Govt planned this in with Brexit, the rights of workers and people's property are all dispensable. The new deregulatory framework honed by the brains behind Brexit Shanker Singham states that once the new (de)regulatory framework is set, future Govt’s cannot repeal it.
Governance consultancy agencies like Locus Economica, fronted by Michael Castle Miller are already set up in Rwanda with plans for Refugee cities there, Miller is on a direct line to the UK Govt, backed by the ERG and a transatlantic network of liberty.
Peter Thiel of Paypal and Palantir is hoovering up Brits patient data, the NHS will become privatised along with the police force, social services, and eventually the entire UK. miro.com/app/board/uXjV…
Charter schools tripled in number from 2000 to 2012. Wall Street Journal compared Romer’s charter city model to a charter school ‘free of union contracts and public bureaucracy’...
Where charter schools targeted state schools as outmoded, charter cities target the outmoded institutions of nation-states. Remember, Sunak the unelected oligarch studied this at Stanford.
UK’s Banks are being taught lessons from the likes of Nigel Farage that no matter where your money comes from, whom it supports politically, including the disrupting influences it will unleash on communities within the upcoming deregulated zone, NeoFeudalism will thrive...
Farage's transatlantic gang of extortionists, climate denialists, libertarian agitators, and those who seek to destroy democracy will make damn sure you suffer for calling them out. #BrexitBrokeBritain
Brexit transition period has its parallel in Ayn Rand's question ‘What would happen if you took an undeveloped host country, leased a 100 sq miles to 1000 free marketers and give them 50-years free reign to administer the area without Govt rule?
Brexit UK is about to find out.

I have been saying for some years that Brexit will privatise the UK, that's everything, security services, schools, hospitals, housing, entire regions will fall prey to corporate governance beyond 'big Govt' reach. Charter cities, SEZs and Freeports fever. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
Post-Brexit the Police force across England and Wales will be privatised as companies pile on pressure to install their own investigators and patrolling of neighbourhoods just as the welfare state collapses, this is the Brexit transition phase. theguardian.com/uk/2012/mar/02…
I was thinking of the @stephenfry and @hughlaurie sketch of the privatisation of the Police force, so typed in the question this morning, turns out it's no joke!
"We have a Govt which fiercely prosecutes benefit cheats but lets tax cheats off the hook"
Excellent video by @georgeMonbiot on Sunak's plutocratic party.
@GeorgeMonbiot Tax fraud costs us 9 times as much as benefits fraud, you're 23 more times likely to be prosecuted if you're caught fiddling benefits than if you're caught fiddling tax.
@GeorgeMonbiot Sunak and Zahawi were both chancellors of the exchequer, Sunak's wife and Zahawi were caught fiddling tax and yet both faced no prosecution, in fact they were aggressively and relentlessly defended by the Tory regime.
Please watch this video.
The UKs 2 party system is a duopoly controlled by an oligarchy, the pantomime of an adversarial left vs right is about sustaining 'manufactured consent’ via Murdoch, the MSM and British Establishment. @kennardmatt
You can vote, but forget any participation in issues that matter like CoL, your wages, sewage discharges, increased mortgages, improving public services your taxes pay for. Are you aware of the British-American Project?
A transatlantic group that cultivates the left into pro🇺🇸 positions, it still exists today, many of Starmer's shadow ministers are active members. So disturbing to see an overview of how the Guardian demonized Corbyn and how Labour is purging the party of all remnants of the left
The tentacles of privatisation of the NHS are spreading fast, check out the map, hit the pound buttons and see which MPs names come up, the 2nd one I hit was @RachelReevesMP everydoctor.org.uk/map-of-nhs-pri…
@RachelReevesMP I strongly suspect that the £34 billion of lost revenue to colossal Brexit damage is going to be reclaimed from privatising the NHS, cutbacks on benefits, increased energy bills and food prices in the misplaced belief that the markets will 'self regulate'
@RachelReevesMP When people's lives and livelihoods are so battered and bludgeoned by these economic terrorist attacks, guess what? You won't even be able to protest because the Strikes Bill just passed that will let employers decide whether workers can strike or be fined or face imprisonment.
Be in no doubt labour voters, in black and white.
Keir Starmer - ‘No rejoining EU, or single market, or customs union, no freedom of movement’
So catastrophically wrong and willfully misguided. What a disappointment. labour.org.uk/press/keir-sta…
Starmer’s delusion about not visiting old arguments is like standing in a blizzard telling everyone the sun is shining. The architects of Brexit admit it failed, the majority of the UK public want to rejoin. A festering wound is not healed with a sticking plaster. I despair
This marks a point in UK political history where the left have been totally eclipsed by free market fundamentalists, a transatlantic network of thinktanks formed in the 50s who despised the social contract and fomented the end of egalitarian economics and now democracy itself.
Special Economic Zones (SEZs), why is the MSM not discussing the next post-Brexit catastrophe in the making?
Sunak lied when he said he’d scrapped Truss’ SEZs, Hunt the sneak has picked them up, do people have the faintest idea what SEZs are? #Brexit #sez
Sunaks Freeports (12 in all) are segues into UK zone fever, the surrounding SEZs recently expanded up to 75km. There are 237 SEZs in war-torn Africa thriving on division amidst jurisdictions operating with private laws beyond Govt reach. Deregulation was always Brexit's goal...
SEZs experiment in free trade markets, an extreme form of predatory capitalism/competition that ushers in appalling labour conditions. As strikes in UK are outlawed, SEZs set up laws as services that companies demand. Labour didn’t back the Fatal Motion on strikes, what's next?
