Current ongoing controversy started from TI's one tweet on Savitribai Phule

On 3rd Jan 2022, Communist Leader Sitaram Yechury post a Tweet on Savitribai Phule in which he acknowledged her role in dalit upliftment and he also called her country's first female teacher

Those who don't know abt Savitri Bai Phule. She is very reputed icon in Maharashtra and all over India specially among Hindu OBC and SC, ST

She has million of follower who worship her as Goddess and consider her reformist in field of female education n untouchability

TI (Bhardwaj Speaks) quoted Sitaram's tweet and said that Phule was not first female teacher of India while Kashi based Hotee Vidyalankar was first teacher of India. She died 21 years before even Phule born.

If he had stopped here then it was ok but he went further n told

Why no one knows Hotee but everyone knows Phule and reason TI gave that she was supported and glorified by Britishers coz Savitribai Phule wrote poems glorifying British and Christianity

TI aka Bhardwaj speaks didn't stop here n went further

TI said Britishers were away from family in India and they had sexual needs and for that they used to abduct Indian girls and used to use them as sex slave and here Phule comes in picture

These allegations on Phule were enough to spark Maharashtra where Phule is worshipped as Goddess among OBC and SC/ST

TI was already in target of marxist and Leftist along with Congress and NCP picked this issue

They called it gross disrespect of Savitribai Phule

A huge protest happened last year by Congress and NCP leaders.

To pacify them an FIR was filed against TI but no arrest happened

This year Congress MLA again raised this issue in Maharashtra assembly and accused Fadnavis govt to saving him n disrespecting Savitribai Phule

To pacify opposition, Fadnavis said that they dont have information who are those handles and they have sought information from twitter and they understand emotions of Phule's supporters and their comment on Phule are so mean that he/she sud be hanged (a local marathi slang)

but They will follow Law and work accordingly Law.

Now readers themselves decide who is right here and who is wrong

But one thing RW scolers must understand that if u try to U turn a car that is going with 100 Km speed then it will definitely topple

What is right and wrong is imp but more imp is public perception and sentiments n we all sud respect that

I personally believe TI comment on Savitribai Phule is totally wrong and condemnable but I dont think there was any hidden agenda or motive in his tweet to divide society

TI has offered his apologies.

I think Maharashtra leaders sud show big heart here and close this matter now.

TI sud keep doing his/her good work that he/was doing earlier n Govt sud be equally strict agst those LW/Islamist also who disrespects hindu gods n icons
