🧵Here’s how the World Economic Forum is quietly working to demonetize and deplatform right-of-center voices, including @realDailyWire, using authoritarian tactics and hall monitor “fact-checkers” like @NewsGuardRating.
2/ 90% of all global ad dollars are controlled by members of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), which includes brands like @Hersheys @Disney @ProcterGamble. In 2019, they launched the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM), which was then adopted by the WEF.
3/ GARM is an unholy alliance between huge advertisers and social media companies like Google’s YouTube, China’s TikTok, Meta’s Facebook & Instagram, and even Twitter/X and Snapchat. GARM developed something they call the “brand safety floor & suitability framework.”
4/ This “framework” might be fine if it stuck to ensuring we keep illegal & objectively harmful content offline, like child pornography. But their authoritarian nature kicked in, & they decided to ban cultural commentary they don't approve of, like when we say men can't be women.
5/ Legacy media, new media, and even independent podcasters are subject to these rules. If you violate them and say true things the elites don't like, they can blacklist you, demonetize you, or deplatform you.
6/ Do I believe for one second that Klaus Schwab thinks Dylan Mulvaney is a woman? No. But those like him are seeking to consolidate power, and they understand that adopting Left-wing positions helps them in two discrete ways:
7/ 1. These social positions degrade family & community, making power easier to take from the top. 2. It gets the activist class fighting FOR them instead of against them. The normal anti-capitalist "speak truth to power" crowd now have jobs as foot soldiers of the powerful.
8/ One such place they work is GARM’s partner @NewsGuardRating. The little compliance crusaders at NewsGuard engage in performative virtue signaling by going around issuing scores to media outlets based on their allegedly “apolitical” criteria.
9/ Their criteria is anything but apolitical, and their friends over at GARM are now being subpoenaed by @Jim_Jordan’s Judiciary Committee for appearing to “facilitate collusion” in a way that “may violate U.S. antitrust law.”
10/ There are certain industries where a violation of antitrust law isn’t going to result in disaster. The Left’s increasing desire to monopolize news and commentary isn't one of them. Take the time to know the players like your freedom depends on it, because it does.

The reason so many people agree with @joerogan is because those who have spoken in the name of "The Science" have spent the last decade absolutely wrecking any and all trust in actual science by cramming down anti-scientific nonsense while claiming "the debate is over."
And btw, I vociferously disagree with RFK Jr. on vaccinations generally, although I agree that the covid vaxx was wildly oversold by Pfizer and world governments, particularly to young and healthy people. That isn't really the issue.
The issue is that the same people saying they owe no one a debate also say the same about the lies of gender theory and "gender affirming healthcare," the "covid lab leak conspiracy," universal masking, global warming mitigation efforts, etc.
The Surgeon General, after promoting social isolation for 2+ years, has released a report on the "Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation." Yep. Side note: every problem noted could be solved by robust religious community. Yet every solution recommended is government intervention.
The government destroys social fabric by substituting itself for family, friends, and neighbors as the economic safety net, while promoting atomistic individualism as the highest good in place of community standards. Then they're shocked at cataclysmic loneliness and depression.
Their solution: more government! Perhaps government can create some sort of ersatz social fabric with planned communities and forcing people to ride buses and subways! Never mind that such efforts have already been one of the most intense failures in modern history.
It's time to play, once again, the vile media game in which a statistically rare white-on-black racial crime is treated as emblematic of the entire racial situation in the US. That's why Joe Biden is inviting the Yarl family to the White House. The narrative is a blatant lie.
The vast majority of racial crime in the United States is intra-racial. But when it does come to interracial homicide, for example, the chances that a white person killed was killed by a black person are far higher than that a black person killed was killed by a white person.
The media routinely refuse to report even the race of suspects when the suspect is black and the victim is white. Ignoring crime because the suspect is black, by the way, actually promotes crime against black people, since as stated, most crime is intra-racial.
Today is the day. Trump turns himself in for indictment and pleads not guilty.
This was always going to be part of the story; the media and the Left would not rest until Trump found himself in the dock. But criminalization of the political opposition on the flimsiest charges is going to backfire dramatically.
It may not backfire in terms of Trump being elected president, though it definitely boosts him in the primaries. But it certainly will backfire as every political figure finds themselves in the crosshairs of politically motivated DAs looking for a headline and a career boost.
Donald Trump will turn himself in for arraignment on Tuesday. At that very moment, America will find herself in a brave new world -- a world in which the consequences of political defeat may mean legal prosecution.
It's fascinating how so many on the Left will palaver endlessly about threats to democracy, even as they cheer the indictment of the leader of the opposition on the flimsiest of pretexts. And here's a problem just as big: turnabout is fair play.
If you like the idea of an endless parade of reprisal prosecutions, you'll love what comes next. Because when you keep claiming that democracy is at stake and that anti-democratic necessities are therefore justified, you're participating in a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The judicial reform fight in Israel is a proxy for the actual battle, which is really over the changing nature of Israel's political landscape.
The Right’s case is procedural. The current coalition is fighting to prevent the Israeli judiciary from acting as a de facto dictatorship, selecting its own successors and providing few or no limits to its authority. This has been the case since Aharon Barak’s “judicial… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
And that was a result of the rising power of both Likud voters and religious voters. The Right is correct about the judiciary’s overweening power, and the insanity of an AG who can act without actual authority. Many in the center and even on the Left agree with these critiques.
