Big-Food corporations sell processed junk that is killing you.

Did you know much of what they sell is BANNED in other countries?

Here are 12 foods you’re eating that are illegal in other countries you should probably avoid:

Coffee Mate, Pillsbury Biscuits, Ritz Crackers

Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Iceland, Norway, and Denmark have all banned these.

The reason is the trans-fat content, specifically the partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oils, which are linked to heart disease.

Frosted Flakes, Wheat Thins

The UK, Japan, and parts of Europe have banned these cereals because of a chemical called BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene).

The flavor enhancer has been shown to produce liver, lung, thyroid, and kidney damage.

Skittles, Pop-Tarts, Gatorade

These sugary snacks are banned in the European Union because they contain dyes like yellow 5, yellow 6, and red 40.

The EU banned these artificial colors after research indicated they could be harmful to health, especially to young children.

Glyphosate exposure

Glyphosate is the active ingredient in "Round-Up". This popular herbicide is used abundantly throughout the U.S.

Agencies have allowed a 40 fold increase in the amount of glyphosate exposure allowed in the U.S. while it's remained more strict in Europe.
Why does this matter?

It destroys the good bacteria in your gut. And proper gut health is important to immune function, hormone control, nutrient absorption and so much more.

An unhealthy gut results in unhealthy individuals and minimizing glyphosate exposure is a start.

Here’s your 7-step roadmap to lose 20 pounds in 3 months and change your life:
Image
Image
1) Movement is the Key

Weight loss is burning more calories than you eat.

But that doesn't mean you must count calories or go run a marathon.

You can lose 1-2 pounds a week by walking.

Add 2k steps to your current average a good place to start.
2) Use an Eating Window

The time you eat does not matter for weight loss.

But cutting off meals a couple hours before bed allows your gut a rest.

And you'll end up eating less processed food at night.

Brush your teeth , chew gum or have sparkling water to avoid snacking late.

99% of people make these 7 mistakes when trying to lose fat.

Here’s how you can avoid being one of them: Image
1) Relying on Motivation

Motivation is great.

But it’s not permanent.

You won't get far if you only eat right or exercise when you’re motivated.

The secret to sustainable health is creating habits that make a healthy lifestyle easy.
• Walk after meals
• Take meetings on walks
• Meal plan and meal prep
• Strength train 2-3x a week
• Prioritize protein in each meal

If you set up frictionless systems, you’re able to make progress even when you aren’t motivated.

An unhealthy gut leads to chronic disease, impaired digestion, and poor mental health.

Here are the top 6 ways to improve your gut health:

1) Stop Drinking Alcohol Image
Alcohol impairs the balance of microbiota in the gut.

It increases harmful bacteria and decreases beneficial ones.

Chronic alcohol consumption weakens the lining of the gut, a common cause of leaky gut syndrome.

If battling gut issues, give your body a break and limit alcohol.
2) Eat Fermented Foods

These foods contain high numbers of prebiotics.

Which promotes the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut.

This enhances digestion and nutrient absorption.

Try incorporating these into your diet:

• Kefir
• Yogurt
• Kombucha
• Sauerkraut

In the past decade, I’ve played college basketball, treated 1000’s of patients, and helped over 100 men lose weight.

Here are the 21 most important things I’ve learned:

1) The Healthcare System doesn’t care about your health. They care about profits.
2) If you’re alive and breathing, you should be eating a high-protein diet. Protein isn’t just for bodybuilders.

3) Those with a strong community and support system go significantly further than those who try to do it all alone. You need a tribe.
4) Consistency will get you further than trying to optimize everything.

The guys committed to getting it right the majority of the time will get better results than the person doing "Whole 30" but never finding something sustainable.

The Food Pyramid is a marketing scam designed by Big Food companies to keep you addicted to eating their processed food.

Here’s what the food pyramid should be: Image
Here’s what it should be:

Sugar
Seed Oils
Refined Grain
Whole Potatoes
Butter, Ghee, Tallow
Fruits and Vegetables
Steak, Eggs, Beef, Fish, Chicken

Let's dive into each, starting from the top:
Sugar

Sugars from fruits and natural sources aren’t bad.

But when they’re processed and added to foods, they cause a host of problems.

The main one is keeping you addicted to their factory food.

Cutting out added sugars could be the catalyst for turning your health around.

There’s a secret ingredient in processed foods and restaurants making you fat.

And it’s not sugar or salt.

It’s Free Glutamates.

Here’s everything you need to know:
First, what is Glutamate?

Glutamate exists naturally in foods and your body.

You can’t function without it.

It works as an “excitatory neurotransmitter.”

Which is a fancy way of saying it acts as a spark to connect one nerve cell (neuron) to another.
The body produces small amounts of free glutamates naturally.

It’s called “free” because it’s not bound to other amino acids.

In your food, glutamate exists.

But it’s always bound to amino acids in naturally occurring food like meat, fruit, and veggies.
