As I was reading the document yesterday, I rushed with 2 observations. I listed the 4 names I could easily spot out of the 6 co-conspirators (5th was soon spotted by some others that I also shared)
And I counted the years that Trump faces out of these new criminal charges
You have probably already seen reporting of the 5 identified co-conspirators
1 Giuliani
2 John Eastman
3 Sidney Powell
4 Jeff Clark
5 Ken Chesebro
The 6th co-conspirator was not yet definitely identified last night (may be by now, I have not looked into it today)
NOTE - those 6 were IDENTIFIED by Jack Smith as participating with Trump on (at least 1 of) the three conspiracies (Giuliani on all 3). Jack Smith WILL indict them too. He no doubt has ALREADY NOW their indictments, but under seal. He does Trump first (this is good: less delays)
The other 'big' issue was 'how much prison time'? I calculated that the maximum prison exposure from this new indicment with four criminal counts, adds 55 years to Trump's previous criminal exposure (Manhattan max 136 years & espionage-a-lago max 450 years).
And to be clear. Florida (Mar-A-Lago documents) prison time cannot run 'concurrently' with Manhattan (financial fraud) prison time. They run 'consecutively' so one comes after the first prison time has been served. Trump will be transferred to another prison for next sentence
Now this new Jack Smith indictment in DC about Jan 6th - also CANNOT run 'concurrently' with Manhattan or Florida. It will run separately, and DC prison time starts counting years only after the others have been served (but we do not know in which SEQUENCE they will be decided)
While I have you, Manhattan where Trump faces 136 years will DEFINITELY not be that long. I estimate Trump gets 12 years out of Manhattan
Florida has that nutty judge, so the INITIAL punishment may be absurd, but if it is not according to guidelines, Jack Smith will just appeal
So regardless of what may be initial sentence, Trump will end up DOING prison time out of Florida for at least 200 years, could be 250-300 years
This DC indictment by Jack Smith adds a max of 55 years on top of those. BUT Jack Smith has not FINISHED with Jan 6
Like we saw in Florida, Jack Smith will do a 'superseding indictment' where more charges are added. So for DC, while this FIRST indictment 'only' counted 55 years more - I expect Trump to be sentences to well over 100 years for Jan 6th crimes
So roughly expect actual TIME for Trump to be roughly 312-412 years so far (he MIGHT not outlive that, he is an elderly man)
Rememebr Trump' FOURTH criminal indictment will be Georgia in the next weeks now in August
And Trump faces AT LEAST 54 more criminal trials after these 4

He was spending $1.5 million per month last year this time
Now we found out his legal fees had jumped to $6.7 million per month ($40.2M in first 6 mo of 2023)
This was for his first 3 criminal cases (Manhattan, Jack Smith 1 Mar-A-Lago, and upcoming Georgia)
AND in first half of 2023 he also had several civil trials, most notoriously the E Jean Carroll sexual abuse (civil) trial
this first half does not include significant prep work for Jack Smith 2 (in DC, Jan 6th related) because it came as a shock to Trump team, at end of period
Why have his legal fees jumped so much? Three main reasons
There are more trials going to court (Trump nearly always loses, & tries to settle out of court). That is expensive. And with criminal trials, Trump cannot settle with money, what he could nearly always do in civil cases
On the Trump crime of selling Presidential Pardons, I have two developments that I had missed 2 years ago. Someone told me of this story in The Atlantic. I have two updates for us, based on this excellent old article
First on the 'who'. So far we knew that Jared, Rudy Giuliani, Roger Stone, and Rep Paul Gosar had been selling Trump pardons (with a cut going to Trump of course, so this is utterly totally obscenely criminal)
Now I learned another person, Corey Lewandowski joins that group
Secondly on the 'how much'. There had been reporting of Trump bribes to get a Presidential pardon costing anywhere from one to two million dollars.
I said it is one million for Trump plus sales commission for the agent on top. This article confirms that EXACT NUMBER
On Trump pocket judge Loose Cannon: Come On Aileen. Do NOT fret the May trial date
It is not as early as we want, it is not pushing it past the election as Trump tried. We'll live with this
Manhattan criminal trial (financial fraud, slam dunk) is in March. Trump goes to prison
First, Jack Smith. He ALREADY has his second (of at least 5) criminal cases against Trump READY FOR TRIAL. It is Jan 6. This is the case we MOST WANT. Jack Smith will charge Trump in DC - an area that is heavily democratic, so expect a judge FAR more hostile to Trump in DC
In his FIRST case (Florida/Cannon/Espionage) Jack Smith has 84 witnesses!!
In those cases where a criminal's attorney flips, there is NO HOPE for the defendant. Jack Smith has flipped not one, not two, but THREE Trump attorneys in this case
So Trump got a (second) target letter from Jack Smith, about his crimes relating to Jan 6th attempted coup d'etat, insurrection, rebellion, cop-beating & hanging party*.
Some were asking me "who else gets target letters"?
* What GOP calls a 'picnic' to DC
TARGET LETTER THREAD/2
Jan 6th is largest crime in history of FBI. The total number to be tried, convicted & imprisoned will exceed 1,000 people. We do not CARE about the chickenshits, like Tour Guide Girl and Wavey Boy and Bus Ticket Wife. What we want, is the CORE TEAM of it
TARGET LETTER THREAD/3
Understand what this Thread is. This is NOT a wish list. You are not allowed to ADD NAMES to this Thread, about your silly childish wish list of who you want in prison
This Thread is not fantasy. This is FACTS. We KNOW who plotted Jan 6. Stick to facts
I have told you from the start, it is not just Georgia, there are half a dozen more states that will convict Trump of election fraud. Georgia just happened to be the fastest. The other prosecutions are all following form, Arizona never stopped their investigation..
So Manhattan DA charged Trump with 34 counts of financial fraud. He faces 136 years for that FIRST criminal trial
It is not the ONLY financial crime in New York, it was just the easist, simplest & fastest to bring to trial. Half a dozen more crimes in State of NY await
New York is not the only state that will charge Trump for financial crimes. Remember they have the crooked books of Trump Accountant, Allen Weisselberg. So next comes Illinois, then the other states like Maryland, California, DC, New Jersey, Florida (and abroad: Scotland, etc)
