To Ivante - the young man who stopped me at the grocery store working 2 jobs with a 1 year old who asked for advice on how to get ahead - I gave you a short answer because I was in a rush and it ate at me. So if you follow me here, maybe you’ll read this.
@AlexHormozi Dope advice. I'll add in a little advice born from my own experiences grinding it out:

@AlexHormozi 2. Sales as a skill is a stack of other skills.
People skills (charisma, charm, connection), product knowledge, social sciences, psychology and understanding what makes people tick, pain points, motivators, etc. are all critical to sales success.

Nothing great happens on the first try.
It’s the 100th iteration that makes you dangerous and the ability to see out 2-99 to get there.
It’s what these guys who launch a new product/program/business every 6 months have yet to learn. They keep repeating the level until they beat the boss. The fortune is in the 43rd version of your first product. Not your 43rd new product.
I’ve made better work (now vs 10 years ago) not because I’ve gotten any smarter, I’ve just increased the delay with which I can wait before getting something back.
