@DigitalMafioso2 In the past, banks had to keep a certain percentage of their deposits in reserve at the Federal Reserve. This meant that they couldn't lend out all of their money. The Federal Reserve did this to control the amount of money in circulation.
@DigitalMafioso2 But in March 2020, the Federal Reserve lowered reserve requirements to zero. This means that banks don't have to keep any money in reserve at the Federal Reserve. They can lend out all of their money, which helps to stimulate the economy.
