He left a high paying job to raise cows.

And he became a farmer who built Malaysia's biggest fresh milk industry.

This is the inspiring story of farmer & entrepreneur Loi Tuan Ee of Farm Fresh. Image
Loi was a “kampung boy” from Perak who grew up with agriculture.

He & his brother Tuan Kin co-founded Farm Fresh in 2009.

They started with rearing goats first.

Then Loi noticed that many local brands were selling dairy products made from powdered milk.

Loi wanted to produce fresh & pure dairy how it should be, not from powder.

So he purchased a small plot of land in Johor & imported 60 Holstein Jersey cows from Australia.

In the beginning, there was no buyer.

No one would trust a Malaysian dairy brand.

But one day, a major retailer gave Farm Fresh a chance.

Farm Fresh started to grow bigger.

Loi asked his old fried Azmi Zainal to become a partner.

Azmi brought in Khazanah National, the investment arm of the Malaysian government to invest into Farm Fresh. Image
Farm Fresh products were sold in major cities in Malaysia.

Loi & Azmi then started the Home Dealer Network for micro entrepreneurs.

This allows distribution of their products in small towns & rural areas.

The entrepreneurs whom are mostly women were able to get more income. Image
Today Farm Fresh produces more than 140 million litres of milk products annually.

This is through their five farms in Malaysia, two dairy farms & a processing plant in Australia.

Malaysian consumers are able to enjoy the goodness of Australian dairy.

Farm Fresh went public in March 2022 & they raised about RM1.6 billion.

Earlier this year they acquired local ice cream company The Inside Scoop for RM84m (US$18.3m).

Loi became one of the richest person in Malaysia & ranked no. 46 by Forbes.

Loi showed a great example of how perseverance & determination can lead to great success.

It's about risk taking, passion for agriculture & able to find opportunities.

Fram Fresh & Loi's story is truly inspiring indeed.

At 30, Zhang Junjie took CHAGEE to Nasdaq and built a $2.6B empire.

But his story didn’t start in boardrooms.

It started with survival. Don't miss this story. 👇🥤 Image
1/ Zhang lost both his parents at 10.

By his teens, he was barely literate.

No money. No family to lean on.

At 17, he took a job mopping floors at a milk tea shop the lowest position.

But he made a decision: Work harder than everyone. Image
2/ First to arrive. Last to leave.

In a few years, Zhang climbed from floor staff ➔ store manager ➔ regional director.

He learned tea inside-out: brewing, operations, management.

But he wanted more than a salary. He wanted a future. Image

Most people think government officers don’t care.

Slow to act. Hard to reach.

But in Sepang, something changed.

Azarul Azlan showed what happens when someone actually does the work. Image
1/ I’ve been reporting streetlight issues around Sepang district since 2018.

Nothing ever really got fixed. Until he took over.

In December 2022, Azarul Azlan became JKR's District Engineer.

And things started to improve. Greatly.Image
Image
2/ Roads were repaved.

Streetlights that stayed dead for years were replaced with LEDs.

Even the roads and lights around Kuala Lumpur International Airport...

Once dark and embarrassing, now look and feel world class.

It finally feels like someone cares.

Malaysia Airlines was once losing. A failing airline. A struggling brand.

Today? It's becoming profitable again. Expanding. Winning passengers.

It was because of Datuk Captain Izham Ismail.

A pilot who took the airline through its hardest times. 🧵🛫 Image
1/ Datuk Captain Izham wasn’t a typical CEO.

He started as a pilot.

He broke records flying Malaysia Airlines' first Boeing 777-200 non-stop around the world in 1997.

In 2017, he took on his biggest challenge, to save the airline he had served for years. Image
2/ Back then Malaysia Airlines was in deep trouble.

• Billions in losses
• Public trust lost after MH370 & MH17
• Years of failed turnarounds

By 2015, it was declared “technically bankrupt.”

Datuk Captain Izham had two choices:

Play it safe or do the impossible. Image

He borrowed money from his grandmother to start his ice cream and tea business.

Today he has more stores than Starbucks.

This is the amazing and inspiring story of Zhang Hongchao of Mixue. 🍦🧋👇 Image
1/ Zhang Hongchao was born in Henan province, China in 1978.

He came from a poor family and used to work as a farmer and fix motorcycles.

When he entered university, he was struggling to pay his tuition fees.

With limited choices, he asked his grandmother for help. Image
2/ She lent him 3,000 RMB (about US$400 / RM1,800).

Which he used to start a small business—a simple shaved ice stall.

He had a freezer, a few chairs, and a folding table and he even built his own shaved ice machine.

The menu was simple—shaved ice, ice cream, and smoothies. Image

Change your marketing.

1. Sell your product with a story. Image
