Laura Ingraham openly mocked the toxic air in the Northeastern United States which is currently putting 75 million people at risk. She also laughed at the suggestion that Latino and Black children have higher rates of asthma. THEY DO have higher rates of asthma, that's not new.

The reason Black and Latino children have higher rates of asthma is that many of them live in areas where they are exposed to air pollution at a young age. There are clusters in NYC where asthma rates are higher that are near bus depots - Harlem, N. Manhattan, The Bronx

I can't write this all in a tweet but it's also true where children live next to poor air quality. Children from lower income families are more likely to suffer from asthma because they tend to live in areas with lower air quality. This has been well studied.

On Special Report with Bret Baier the tone was much more subdued as it’s considered a legit news program. Jonathan Turley said Trump could pardon himself, Baier read Trump’s statements on air. 2/8

Jesse Watters was emotional and unhinged. In Watters’ America everything is terrible. He brought up Hillary Clinton often and warned of unrest. Mike Davis incorrectly linked Bragg with Soros. Clay Travis claimed ‘nothing happed’ to Bill Clinton with The Lewinsky scandal 3/8

A 🧵thread. I went through every episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight and edited out ALL of the footage he claimed was evidence of some alternative narrative. It was about 10 min. 45 secs. total. This first video focuses on Jacob Cansley the QAnon Shaman 1/6

This video focuses on Chansley. Carlson shows him entering the building but when he showed the clip he didn’t mention to his viewers that Chansley is in the shot. All told there was about 3 and a half min. total of Chansley. You can also see that he’s holding a spear 2/6

The third video shows protesters in a large circular room. Tucker Carlson claimed they lined up in neat and orderly lines but that’s not what is shown. I’m not sure how this changes anything. 3/6

A 🧵thread about how Fox News took the DOE “low confidence” theory that COVID-19 may have leaked from a lab to promote misinformation about the disease. 1. Natural immunity - Fox seems to forget how randomly the disease killed people. 1/5

2. Masks - Somehow the origin of COVID meant that masks don’t work according to Fox. Dr. Marty Makary cites the Cochran Studies which some researchers have criticized. I provide several medical organizations that promote mask wearing. 2/5

3. School closures - Was it worth putting the lives of adult teachers and staff at risk of catching a highly unpredictable sometimes lethal disease that the medical community knew little about. Sweden was not a free for all and their policies have been criticized. 3/5
