1) I've read the second tweet. It's all still the dumbest set of Lawfare pushed narratives that could ever exist.

There are literally thousands of hours of pundits and opposition voices over the entire 4 years talking about Trump's push to declassify documents.
3) The fight in 2017 to declassify the Obama PDB that Devin Nunes read in a White House SCIF.

The fight over the declassification of the Page/Strzok redacted text messages.
4) The fight over declassifying the 2017 NSA/FISC report on Trump surveillance by the FBI.

The fight with ODNI Dan Coats about declassifying the Brennan notes.

The fight with the FBI fight to declassify the Comey memos.
5) The fight with Nunes and Schiff over the classified FISA warrant held by Main justice that led to the creation of the dueling Nunes and Schiff memos.

.. and the declassification of the Nunes memo that filled the media pundits for weeks.
6) The Trump fight with Rod Rosenstein and the Mueller special counsel about declassifying documents. Image
7) The Trump fight to declassify the Susan Rice memo.

The fight with ODNI, FBI and DOJ to declassify the Bruce Ohr 302's. The notes and messages of Andrew McCabe. etc. etc. etc. Image
8) Good grief. For four years the media waxed on and on about how Trump was not allowed to declassify anything.... and how Weissmann structured their threats of interference based on declassification of materials. Image
9) The granting of declassification authority to Bill Barr in order to get everything into the sunlight and let the people see the evidence being hidden by declassification. Image
10) There are literally thousands of hours of pundits talking about it, hundreds of articles written about it.... All of it is about President Trump demanding declassification and the Deep State blocks therein. Image
11) I doubt there is a single granular issue more widely known, debated, discussed and cited with evidence to support it, than President Trump's efforts to declassify thousands of documents....

And not just about FBI/DOJ... Image
12) That's what makes this article so stupid as to the insufferable effort of ABC to push a leak from the Special Counsel who is only operating on a lawfare basis to sway public opinion.

abcnews.go.com/US/meadows-tol…
13) We all know what Jack Smith is doing... Image
14) It just makes ABC, Axios, and the ever-ridiculous Mark Meadows and Mike Pence look jointly just as stupid.

axios.com/2023/08/20/tru…
15) Jonathan Karl has jumped the proverbial shark, and ABC looks like a bunch of knuckleheaded Lawfare sycophants pushing this stupid story.....

But please, continue....

1] Shallow fools. You throw this out, as if it's some grand hypocrisy. lol.

Go back - watch the 2016 South Carolina GOP debate, to see Trump eviscerating the Bush clan, in person, live and on television.

So catastrophic for the clan patriarch & CIA head GHWB came out of his..
2] ...retired "cloistered" existence to try and co-opt the uncontrolled enemy.

Donald Trump was considered by GHW Bush to be the biggest threat to the domestic Intel System and controlled U.S. political apparatus he helped construct. His very legacy was under threat. Image
3] Go back to the 2016 GOP convention, look at the network who pulled GHW Bush back to try and retain control. George HW Bush was Emperor Palpatine.

Trump, like many of us, knew this. The scale of Bush damage on this nation (think intel and NAFTA) is his epic legacy. Image

1) If you have only started paying attention in the past ten to fifteen years, there's something very important to know and/or remember about Republicans. Image
2) A frequent criticism about the professional GOP is that they are weak, timid, comfier with the status quo and not as vicious or hate-filled as Democrats.

This is not true. Not true at all.
3) The professional GOP wing is just as vicious and just as scheming and conniving as any far-left Lawfare leftist you can imagine.

But their collective hate is reserved for one issue alone.

This is what too few understand.

1) My version of healing or hugging it out, in a message to Ron DeSantis supporters 👇 Image
2) Why? Because they break down into two groups.

I. The con artists.
II. Those easily conned.
3) In 2017 we granted the Cruz Crew con artists benefit of the doubt and entry into the MAGA movement.

The Cruz Crew then high-horsed, worked in the background to undermine Trump at every moment of battle, then aligned with Jeb and reassembled as Ron DeSantis crew in 2023.

1. @LauraLoomer and @Peoples_Pundit are giving the granular details. All righteous and accurate.

Allow me to elevate your view to the big picture with a short thread.
2. The constitution of the United States outlines that each state in the republic is responsible for conducting their own elections.

For the BIG CLUB, this constitutional position presented a problem.
3. In order to control the levers of power, a system was needed to stand atop the election system outlined in the constitution.

The solution, two political parties. Two private corporations, that could control the process.

1) "defense information" = any ancillary information that applies to "national security" as *DEFINED* by the DOJ!

That last part is the key. Defined by the DOJ.

See next Tweet to see how that worked in this instance. https://t.co/KPElq0n7gf

2) The 11th Circuit CCA, deferred any definition challenges to the DOJ-NSD, and granted them the ability to never disclose the documents or have them reviewed by 'special master' to challenge definition(s).

The entire Smith case boils down to 'definitions'.

3) "definitions" are also what the DOJ weaponized in the targeting of @GenFlynn, with ridiculous claims surrounding what *words* would imply the removal of Russian "sanctions."

See "frame them" below👇

Thus, this Trump case will be argued around meanings. And....
