Leftists insulted, diminished, smeared, and shit on every aspect of "white culture" in the name of identity politics.

They said everything from ballet to beethoven was racist, stolen or inferior.

They antagonized white people by saying "white people have no culture."

And...
They used the thin veneer of social theory to cover up the most vile and disgusting forms of racism against Asians, White people, and Jews.

The applauded racist taunts against conservstive blacks, openly calling Clarence Thomas and Thomas Sowell "Oreo" and "Uncle Tom"

And...
They said that any person from approved groups (black, brown, muslim, Natove American) could be proud of good things associated with their culture, but unapproved groups (white european, asian, certsin jews) are not allowed to be proud of anything associated with their culture...
They make unapproved groups (mostly whites, but asiams andnjews as well) wear the shame of historical sins of their group, but the approved groups that vote for leftist policies (black, brown, muslim etc) never have to "take accountibility" for their historical sins...
The left has continually and ferverently picked at the wounds of racial tension, enacted double standards, smeared people with racial slurs, generstional racial guilt trips, harrased conservative minorities, and used racial scapegoating to advance their radical left politics...
There has been endless shaming, antagonizing, blaming, taunting, jeering, and scapegosting of any racial group (white people in particular) that doesn't vote majority left...and when anyone complains about this, or bothers to point it out....
the left has a whole set of theories and an entire lexicon of terms that serves to delegitimize both the objections of anyone who doesn't go along with it, and as the frustration people feel when they get blamed and shamed for things that happened before they were born....
And if you bring this up they obfuscate and cry "imagine how black people feel with all the racism"

Did we forget that two wrongs do not make a right? That one evil does not justify another?

The worst part is that the "white people" that take the brunt of the abuse are...
The poor "redneck" white people, the working class white people who have little to social cache, money, or resources.

The wealthy, educated, powerful, "stuff white people like" sorts of "white people" are not the ones who pay the price. They offload the entire price....
of all that I have outlined and dump it on the working class.

And when you point that lut, you get condescending, smug, snarky, arrogant responses like "white people have all the stuff," as if poor appalachians or unemployed plummers have all of societies money and power...
Now we have a serious problem with the rise of white identity politics and illiberalism on the right...the left just says "see, I told you they were always like this. The left erodes free speech in universities with speech codes and on social media with bannings, they attack...
Objective truth in universities, they they attack rights (Critical Race Theory explicitly attacks the liberal concept of rights) they attack the ckncept of colorblindness and tresti g people as individuals, they attack the concept of neutrality and fairness....
And they wonder how illiberalism on the right showed up.

It's not a mystery.

The left got rid of objective truth, neutrality, rights, colorblindness, fairness, and due process to allow the illiberal left to gain traction, and never stopped to think that this might backfire...
When the illiberal right realized it gets to play by tha same rules as the woke left, the rules of no truth, no neutrality, no rights, no due process, and no colorblindness.

The sowed the wind and now we all reap the whirlwind.

And, here is the thing, we can't ignore this...
We can't ignore that the left is engaged in racial agitation, racial scapegoating and the rest of it.

We actually have to deal with it.
And if we don't deal with it using liberal methods, the hard right will offer up a case for using illiberal methods. If we do not...
Offer up a colorblind option for fighting this stuff, the hars right will offer race realist white nstionalism and white identity politics to fight it.

Finally AND MOST IMPORTANTLY we need tk offer up a solution based on TRUTH.

We have to acknowledge what is going on...
And we have to deal with it honestly. We can't just oretendnitnisn't happening.

But using TRUTH as our main goal also means that we don't accept the evil of any kind of racial identity politics (white or othwrwise) because the ideology behind those politics is not TRUE...
We need to offer a compelling righteous, effective, strong, colorblind, TRUE, enlightenment liberal antidote to the lefts racial agitation.

No matter how legitimate peoples anger is, a reactionary politics fueld by anger, grevience, and resentment is not the answer...
We need a beautiful politics rooted in an objectove account of the TRUE and the GOOD that is capable of being more attractive and alluring to people than the right wing reactionary politics, or leftist woke politics.

We can't ignore this. We have to provide an alternative...
It might be the lefts mess, but we let them makebthat mess for 40 years in our institutions and now we're the ones that have the ability to clean it up.

Time to get to work.

"No enemies to the right" is a trojan horse for terrible ideas

Because it's "no enemies **TO** the right" instead of "no enemies **ON** the right," NETTR allows the most extreme people on the right to avoid public criticism even when they're clearly wrong about something...
2/
Whereas the extremist right wing person can lob out criticism of any right wing person slightly less right then the extremist.

A 10 on the right wing scale can publicly attack a 9 on the right wing scale, but the 9 can't fire back publicly...even when the 9 is correct...
3/
This turn NETTR into what I always suspect it was: a sheild to protect certain people from any public criticism at all.

Another problem is that NETTR erodes the value of truth. NETTR prevents criticism of those "to the right" not those who "tell the truth."

This means...

One way that woke activists were able to take over the education system and get away with it was to make the claim, phrased in various different ways, that education is and always has been utterly political.

Woke activists politicizing education,

A thread 🧵 Image
2/
They claim education is always political. This is why you often see articles in academic journals dedicated to education that say thing like: “education is inherently political,” “education was always already political,” “teaching is a political act,” and so on and so fourth.
3/
As such. Critical Social Justice activists in education set about developing a theory of teaching in which the values, goal, agenda, perspective, worldview, and ideology of Critical Social Justice/wokeness are built into the fabric of how teaching is done.

Want to know why Universities are woke?

It's because they've been hijacked by "Activist Scholars" who use them to spread woke ideology.

These political activists are using universities as vehicles to indoctrinate students into far left ideology

Here are the receipts:🧵 Image
2/
Let's get something clear first.

The problem is NOT merely that some professors have blind-spots that can be corrected by other professors with different views. That's not what I am talking about here....

Activists Scholars are an entirely different problem.
3/
It used to be that University professors would try to teach about ideas as evenhandedly as is possible. Of course everyone has biases, but the idea was that professors would at least TRY to put their biases aside and teach the material in a balanced, fair, evenhanded way...

The woke have taken over education, and it's worse then you think.

This teacher, who doesn't know when America was founded, says she teaches students about Protesting and Black Lives Matter, but won't teach the official curriculum

The woke education take over explained: A🧵
2/
Isaac Gottesman (an advocate of Critical Social Justice/wokeness) wrote the book "The Critical Turn in Education," and explains how the 1960's radical leftist brought Marxism into universities - in the 1970's, and took over the field of education in the 70's and 80's. Image
3/
Gottesman also explains that in the 70's and 80's the marxists actually pushed the original Marxist ideas past where Marx took them amking them even more radical. He also freely admits that the marxists "radicalized" the field of education.

Don't take my word for it👇👇👇 Image

🚨RELATIVISM!🚨

Relativism says truth claims are not objectively, absolutely, universally true, they're only true relative to the culture they emerge from

As John Searle explains, this view has eroded standards of quality with disastrous results

So, Relativism:

As I explain in the QT below, Wokeness is deeply postmodern.

For reasons I will briefly explain in the next tweet, postmodern philosophers think it is impossible for us to actually get a grasp on objective, absolute, universal, timeless truths.

3/
The idea is that because:

-we only have our own perspective
-our thinking is warped by our biases, prejudices, and self-interest
-we are socially conditioned to have certain beleifs

That claims we say are "true" aren't actually, absolute, universal, timeless, and objective.

Radical left-wing activists who opposed liberalism and the enlightenment (and who were high on neo-marxist "Critical Theory" and postmodernism) hijacked western universities, and in doing so hijacked the training ground for staffing all of our sense making institutions...
2/
This is a very tricky problem to deal with because universities are very intricate machines, and fixing universities without breaking them is really hard.

I see a *LOT* of right wing commentray which says "the regime/liberalism/postwar-consensus led to woke!!!"

And.....
3/
They also claim "liberalism could not stop woke, so we need to try Sam Francis, or Carl Schmidt, or Joseph DeMaistre, or other illibefal and non-liberal writers," even though those writers never stopped woke either.

Time for the tough medicine...
