🆕BREAKING: Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Oberlin College is breaking her silence in an @IWF documentary after being “burned at the stake” for her support of single-sex sports & speaking out against allowing men in women’s sports. bit.ly/45JfHRo
⚠️BURNED AT THE STAKE: In 2022, Coach Kim Russell shared a post on her Instagram opposing Lia Thomas competing in women's swimming, leading to a series of disciplinary meetings ripe with ridicule and reprimand organized by Oberlin College administrators. iwf.org/kim-russell
At one of the meetings, Oberlin’s Athletic Director Natalie Winkelfoos said: “Unfortunately you fall into a category of people that are kind of filled with hate in the world.”
Kim says the experience at Oberlin felt like being “stoned and hanged all at the same time.”‼️It’s a quintessential example of what can happen when truth & common sense come up against radical gender ideology.
While Kim stands on the side of women’s equality, safety, & privacy, apparently her brand of feminism just doesn't cut it—her stance was called “transgressive, transphobic, and unsafe.” Oberlin’s Sr. Assoc. Director of Athletics Creg Jantz told Kim, “It’s acceptable to have your own opinions, but when they go against Oberlin College’s beliefs, it’s a problem for your employment.”
After being told she must write a letter of apology, Kim said as she was sitting down to write she thought to herself, "No, I'm not writing a letter of apology. I’M NOT SORRY.” She will have a conversation with anyone who wants to have a conversation about women’s sports & fairness.
Kim is a former DI two-sport athlete turned college lacrosse coach with over 27 years of coaching experience. She is known as the hippie love coach. Not only because she is a yoga instructor, is often barefoot, reads energy and coaches intuitively, but because she has given countless individuals a safe space to thrive and feel a sense of belonging.
During a slew of disciplinary meetings, Kim was bashed by her own athletes and even told her brand of feminism wasn’t inclusive enough.
Kim shared that this experience has broken her heart. “You love these kids like they're your own. And when they hurt, you hurt too.
Kim’s story is a devastating reminder of the chokehold gender ideology has on society. Kim risked her entire life’s work to share her story, and her bravery to stand up to Oberlin’s group think and speak out for women is bold and inspiring .
She shares: “Do I believe I'm at risk of being fired, of having a storm hit me? Yes. Am I ready for the storm? Yes.”
We will be following Kim’s story and sharing updates as what has happened at Oberlin College continues to unfold. Read more about Kim’s story & watch the full video, as covered by @andreajmew, here: iwf.org/kim-russell

🚨MUST WATCH: Speaking about her experience for the first time, Payton McNabb, a North Carolina high school athlete at Hiwassee Dam High School, shared her experience competing against a biological male in volleyball on the opposing team & the injuries she suffered as a result.
Payton joined @IWF Spokeswoman @Riley_Gaines_ to share how biological males in female athletics is a safety concern at every level of competition. Payton's story is a devastating example of how women & girls suffer when biological males are allowed to compete in female athletics.
"My ability to compete was taken away from me. Having to play against biological males is not a level playing field and it is most definitely not safe."
Payton's story serves as a key example of why @Riley_Gaines_ is speaking out against the injustices female athletes face.
We strongly condemn the violence perpetrated against @IWF spokeswoman @Riley_Gaines_ on @SFSU campus. Riley was violently accosted, ambushed, and physically assaulted during a speech on sex discrimination women face in their own single-sex sports category.
Riley is courageous in speaking up for truth, science and common sense. She has experienced firsthand the injustice female athletes face across America in their own sport. “Inclusion cannot come at the expense of women,” said Riley in a statement to media before the campus event.
“There are other ways to accommodate trans-athletes without discriminating against female athletes,” Gaines continued in @IWF’s statement. Competitive sport is a zero-sum game, inclusion of male-bodied athletes in women’s sport inevitably denies opportunities to female athletes.
Prisha Mosley testified before the South Carolina Senate about her devastating experience with 'gender affirming care' and the pain she suffers with because of her medicalized transition, which began as a minor.
If you watch one thing today, it should be this. @detransaqua
Doctors have abandoned Prisha since she decided to take her life back following her medical transition.
Her story is a reminder of how dangerous and permanent these treatments are for minors and the responsibility that falls on medical professionals. iwf.org/2023/02/13/det…
The permanent physical and emotional damage that Prisha will experience for the rest of her life at the hands of 'gender affirming care' is a reminder of why this treatment being performed on children must end.
📣SENDING A POWERFUL MESSAGE: This month 67 athletes filed an amicus brief to #SCOTUS in support of West Virginia’s law that protects women's sports.
Among these 67 incredible athletes is @Riley_Gaines_, 12x All-American, SEC Record Holder & IW Spokeswoman. Read more⤵️
Riley goes on to add this powerful line to the amicus brief...
"I still struggle with knowing the people who were supposed to shield us from harm and make sure our sport is ethical were the same people who were silent and allowed us to be discriminated against."
The amicus brief concludes with this:
"Every day that girls’ and women’s equal opportunity in sports is denied, is a day that females suffer irreversible harm and psychological trauma."
Chloe Cole’s detransition story is a heartbreaking reminder that children do not know best. They cannot make informed decisions about life-changing ‘care,’ that will lead to more harm than good.
Chloe began identifying as a boy at 12, began hormones at 13, went under the knife to remove her breasts at 15, only to regret it a few months later. She's speaking out about her identity crisis & how her ‘transition’ has taken something beautiful & uniquely female away forever.
‼️She shares the details of being deceived and betrayed by medical professionals who encouraged her medical transition: “They lied to me and my parents. They coerced my parents into allowing me to do this.”
The latest story in our #IdentityCrisis series tells the heartbreaking story of Prisha Mosley, a young woman whose life was permanently altered at the hands of ‘gender affirming’ medicine and doctors who performed a double mastectomy when she was 18.
Telling her emotional story to @kelseybolar, Prisha says, “I just don't understand how, at that young age, plus literally not being with reality, I could make those decisions that would change my life forever.”
Prisha goes on to add, “What was in it for the doctors? Did they genuinely think they were helping and there's no research, or was it just about money?”
This haunting question is one that the gender ideology movement has failed to answer. ⚠️
