@Duh_winning_to 2/ Displayed at Michael Cranny elementary in May/June.
Students scan the codes to access more info, like the story of a girl who "just came out as non-binary," and informs them that "the gender binary is [a] Western concept" that is "kind of a load of crap."
@Duh_winning_to 3/ Training for elementary school "literacy coaches":
@Duh_winning_to 4/ Here teachers from New Market High School share the ways they are "leading collective equity," like by "deepening understanding of colonialism and whiteness in instruction and assessment."
@Duh_winning_to 5/ At a recent workshop, educators were reminded that social emotional learning (SEL) needs to be used to advance wokism otherwise it is just "white supremacy with a hug."
@Duh_winning_to 6/ A parent requested to have their child exempt from LGBT content/ activities as a "faith accommodation," and was denied with this justification for the superintendent:
@Duh_winning_to 7/ The GSA at Thornlea Secondary School promoting meetings that "may include" assistance for ID changes, a drag make-up workshop, an FAQ on hormones and a "chest binding demonstration."
@Duh_winning_to 8/ From their “Gender Identity and Expression Guidelines” document:
@Duh_winning_to 9/ Every morning for the month of June, Westmount Collegiate presented a "SLGBTQI+ word of the day" during the morning announcements. Example (3rd bullet):

Hard to imagine how terribly ignorant those who applaud this have to be. Please do yourselves/your children a favour and understand where totalitarian visions of equity and utopia lead before it’s too late. See three examples in thread.
The @SCDSB_Schools is all about identity “wheels” and “maps.” 🧵
These pictures are from Wyevale PS (Dec 2022), Hillcrest PS (Nov 2022), and Harvest Hills PS (Feb 2023), in that order.
This activity was done by students at Hillcrest PS in Nov 2022, who according to the teacher did “such a great job discussing topics of diversity, equity and inclusion.”
Here was an activity done by SCDSB’s “Gifted County Class” (?) students during a workshop by the director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for the Ontario Principals Council, Irfan Toor.
The person who read my article and thought I was endorsing an “All Lives Matter” movement is the one who got to decide that Linda Stone breached the DDSB code of conduct. What a clown world we live in.
Can we get a redo? Donald Cameron and Randy Pepper seem a lot more sensible:
“The article was lengthy, but in short it was controversial political opinion, essentially endorsing the “All Lives Matter” movement. The “All Lives Matter” movement is commonly understood to be a rejection …
“… of the “Black Lives Matter” movement, which seeks to promote equality and opportunity for a portion of society that has undoubtedly historically been subjected to discrimination. Retweeting it – which reasonably appeared to be endorsing it – was incompatible…
Since when do trustees get to decide that a fellow trustee be barred from meetings and censured for months simply because she has voiced opinions they object to?!?
The witch hunt of DDSB Trustee Linda Stone is shockingly inappropriate and disturbing. Please read…🧵 1/
Last year, three DDSB board members (Trustees Lundquist, Templeton, and Forbes) and a member of the public (Ms McAuley) submitted complaints against Linda. The Integrity Commissioner started an investigation, and Linda resigned on May 16th, 2022. 2/
Linda was reelected on Oct 24th, 2022. The board asked to re-open the investigation, which went forward on Dec 19th, 2022. 2/
Sir William Stephenson public school (@SWS_PS) wrote on Twitter that their school “would like to ensure [that] all who enter our building are aware of our Anti-Oppression Statement and respect of Indigenous lands.” Here is the statement:
