Today the Ontario College of Teachers announced that they are "investigating" me for the 4th time.

They’ve compiled pages and pages of my apparently problematic tweets and direct quotes from podcasts.

I’ll share a bunch of examples in this thread… 1/ For starters we have my tweet that reads "Pride decor at [Toronto High School]" with a picture of the school’s chalk art.

Whoever is in charge of the school X account must have violated the same rules when they originally posted the photo. What do you think? 2/

Here’s the new “Transgender Awareness Week” display made by students at Sunningdale Public School in Oakville, ON.

I think the school should send copies of these posters to parents.

It would be a shame to let all this hard work go to waste, after all.

Imagine you have a 7 year old kid. A sweet, innocent being learning to make sense of the world.

You send them to school to get an "education."

Instead, their teacher happens to be more interested in creating little minions who echo their own worldview/beliefs.

None of their normal colleagues can speak up or they will get fired.

The school board encourages the brainwashing just as they’ve been ordered to by the Ministry of Ed.

And then there’s you, probably left in the dark while your child’s perspective on the world is warped entirely to reflect that of their teacher’s.

Come along for a quick thread and see what teachers at Taylor Creek Public School (Toronto) did at their last PD day on “Becoming Anti-Racist Educators” (April 8th).

First, they watched a TED talk by an American journalist who refers to Ibram Kendi as a “leading historian”and claims race, as a concept, was “invented” in the 1450s by Portuguese man named Gomes de Zurara.

15:30: “Let me talk in particular to the white folks, for a minute. Once we understand that people who look like us invented the very notion of race, in order to advantage themselves, and us, isn’t it easier to see that it’s our problem to solve? It’s a white people problem.”

According to the GECDSB, “2SLGBTQIA+ students are harmed by absences,” so teachers should be on the look out for “signs of distress” tomorrow.

Teachers are also instructed to welcome students back “without judgement,” as “they may not have had a choice,” or they might have been absent for “other reasons.”
No willingness to engage at all. Label all criticisms and concerns as “hate” that is “causing harm,” and double down. That’s the strategy.

Let me introduce you to “Human rights strategist” Chris D’Souza, who runs $1250.00 - $4500.00 workshops for school boards & other agencies in the GTA.

Apparently he has delivered >5000 equity and inclusion lectures/workshops to “agencies across Canada.” A little math anyone? His workshops are anchored in Critical Race Theory- he says so explicitly.

One is “designed to sharpen administrators’ equity lens”, another is described as “an intense immersion in equity based pedagogy”…

A political ideology being taught as fact, what could go wrong?
