Here was Rachel Maddow, on national TV on NBC at the start of the COVID pandemic, instructing everyone not to wear masks -- masks were not just unhelpful but harmful for those without COVID symptoms. This was what Fauci said.
If there's one clear lesson from history, it's that no power with the power to decree Truth and Falsity, to the point that dissent from their decrees is criminalized or even banned.
It's particularly true of US media elites, who have endorsed every destructive lie for 20 years.
And here is the now-notorious video of Maddow claiming the COVID vaccine leaves no chance to contract or transmit the virus.
This is why it's immoral to ban dissent from elite proclamations: they are often wrong even when well-intentioned, let alone when abusing power:

The top 2 priorities of CIA and the US Security State:
1) Infinitely prolong the war in Ukraine to weaken Russia.
2) Control online political speech to banish dissent.
The liberal-left overwhelmingly supports both. The few who oppose both, like @CornelWest, are demonized.
The Democratic Party is the party of:
* CIA/FBI;
* the union of state and corporate power to censor the internet;
* neoconservatives and neoconservatism;
* servitude to the corporate class at the expense of the working class.
* deranged disinformation campaigns:
Bolton, like most neocons, makes clear he prefers Biden's foreign policy to Trump's: for good reason. In 2014, *before Trump*, a NYT op-ed reported Victoria Nuland's husband, Robert Kagan, would support Hillary due to neocons' belief she was better.
It's not the role of ADL, or any advocacy group, to set the limits of political speech. ADL also partners with PayPal to identity "extremists" (ie those who disagree with ADL leaders), who then get banned.
(ADL is just a pro-Dem group exploiting anti-semitism for that cause):
And it's not just the ADL -- but also pretty much every liberal pundit and DC liberal activist group -- who now claim ownership of and flagrantly exploits anti-semitism to place off limits from criticisms of the CIA/FBI, DNC-funding oligarchs, and ADL:
Look how repulsively and flagrantly people like @WajahatAli exploit anti-semitism for cheap partisan aims.
Ali spent years attacking Sheldon Adelson (as did I) for his use of his his billions to influence GOP politics. Somehow, that's OK, but it's anti-Semitic to attack Soros:
One of the most preposterous -- yet effective -- propaganda tactics of the US Security State and their allies is to only talk about their past abuses, to imply they no longer happen:
"Yes, CIA engineered a coup in Iran in the 1950s and Latin America in the 60s and 70s..."
Corporate media ignored or maligned the huge scoop by @ryangrim and @MazMHussain showing the Biden Admin threatened Pakistan to remove PM @ImranKhanPTI over his neutrality on Ukraine.
Now US allies in Islamabad are persecuting Khan's key aides:
The US goal in Ukraine was clear from the start, but is now so glaringly obvious that only willful blindness obscures it:
The goal is not to protect Ukraine. It is to destroy Ukraine by fueling a war designed never to end, all to weaken Russia and feed the West's arms industry:
If Biden and EU leaders believed the propaganda they're feeding to their populations -- this war is of crucial to protect Ukrainian democracy -- they would have given Ukraine far more weapons and more sophisticated ones.
As in Syria, CIA's goal is to infinitely prolong the war.
The only winners of this war have been and will be:
* The US arms industry (Raytheon/Boeing/GD);
* The US intelligence community and other Western intel agencies;
* Whoever in Kiev is feeding on the unsupervised, unaudited billions flying around:
I recently heard a long-time liberal YouTube host (ie someone whose wealth depends on Google) claiming Rumble's view counts are fraudulent (he should be careful since they sell ads).
Meanwhile, 3 of the top 20 news shows on Spotify are Rumble shows (with 3 NPR & 3 Daily Wire).
Sadly, that particular host, despite being at it for *many years*, doesn't appear at all on the chart (though he is #100 on the Apple new chart: 💪).
I know it hurts some to accept, but the fastest-growing platforms in media are free-speech platforms, led by Rumble.
It's not just news and politics where the free-speech, independent platforms are exploding in growth. The largest and most influential cultural streamers are also fleeing Big Tech. It turns out people don't like having their speech constantly restricted.
I was honored and excited to meet with and interview Julian Assange's father, John Shipton, as he travels in Brazil, building support for ending the persecution of his son, considered a hero throughout Latin America.
We'll have the interview on tomorrow night's @SystemUpdate_:
Employees of US media corporations love to self-righteously condemn Putin for imprisoning political opposition and killing opponents like Prigozhin.
As Assange's father said, the US Security State's motive in destroying Assange is to intimidate dissidents from revealing truths.
Propaganda encourages us to view the dissidents of Enemy States as heroic, while the dissidents to our own government are criminal.
That's what Trump meant when - in a key moment of presidential candor - he said this when O'Reilly asked him about Putin:
