The 2023 World Cup in India was supposed to be a huge spectacle. Never has India hosted it all by itself.
The biggest cricketing event happening at the home of billion cricket fans should've been marketed crazily, promoted, advertised for tourism, etc, but NO.
Instead it has turned into a complete mismanagement of all sorts. Tickets being sold barely 2-3 weeks before World Cup, scheduling issues, fans not getting even 10% of ticket share, international fans having no idea about anything, etc.
It was easier to book World Cup tickets for England in 2019 or last year in Australia for the T20 World Cup instead. Feel sad that I won't be able to live the dream of travelling cities to watch the World Cup in my country.
And we all know, nothing will happen, no cricketer will raise their voice, no administrator will take responsibility because at the end of the day, no one gives a shit about the fans.
Sincerely, A disappointed Indian Cricket Fan!

One of his most underrated knocks. A do-or-die game for India where they were reduced to 61/4. First-ever time he walked out to bat in a T20I and he scored a splendid fifty which helped India post 153 on board.
66 (87) vs 🇦🇺, CB Series Final 2008
High pressure game. India were 87/3 with only MS Dhoni left to come. A young Rohit flourished at the SCG batting in tandem with the Master Blaster. India won comfortably by six wickets.
Chasing 185, India were 12/2 and constantly kept losing wickets. In a game where no top batsman managed to get to double figures, Rohit fought a lone battle against the mighty Aussies.
Rohit Sharma, I run out of words to describe your contribution in the World Cup. Five hundreds is legendary stuff and it will be very disappointing that you would not go to Lord's. FAN FOR LIFE! Go make more records and come back stronger, we have a WT20 coming up soon!
Jasprit Bumrah! You are a legend. One in a Billion. Not even in my dreams would I have imagined that India would have a fast bowler like you. Absolute marvel at the start, in the middle and at death too. Ticked all his boxes in #CWC19
