Q#14 I think they meant to say "certain clergy members' [plural] pastoral practice." Grammar renders it unclear.
How many leaders were investigated?
Regarding @TeliosLaw, here is a sample final letter. It says essentially nothing.
Other letters completely missed major details of allegations against Bp. Ruch & other leaders. When interviewed, Ruch dismissed many allegations as "theological differences." Survivors cry foul.
Note: Ms. Sidebotham, lead attorney at @TeliosLaw , has a family member who was a member at @ChurchRez for over a decade.
During the investigation, this person emailed a Rez clergy spouse, and said spouse forwarded on to many congregant families.
Conflict of interest much?
And don't even get me started on @TeliosLaw's credibility rating. During my interview, I was read a list of 20-30 names and asked to rate their credibility on a scale of 1-5.
@MidwestAnglican is not that large. I was almost certain from that list who submitted reports. Unsafe.
And at least one @MidwestAnglican clergy refused to participate in the @TeliosLaw investigation... and...
... there does not seem to be any consequence of his refusal.
Fr. Hartsell moved to southern California last summer and is currently Priest-in-Charge of a church in @The_ACNA @westernanglican.
Is Fr. Hartsell still under @MidwestAnglican's authority?
I called @The_ACNA Provincial Office to ask. Guess what? They don't know!
Could they find out for me?
"We don't reach out to Dioceses to request information."
Q#15: FALSE statement. (evidence listed next)
From @MidwestAnglican and @ChurchRez Pastor Will Chester.
Recent @MidwestAnglican Bishop's Council email, expressing their sorrow and support for Bp. Ruch.
Q#16: The real question that should be asked is...
Why is Bp. Stewart not STILL on a leave of absence, given that @The_ACNA has ruled that an ecclesiastical trial is warranted?
Q#17: Amen. Let us all ask God for truth and justice, and for healing for those harmed.
If you are in the @MidwestAnglican Diocese, do NOT bring your questions or concerns to your clergy or leaders. They have demonstrated that they will not be honest nor transparent.

Q#9: The answer to "Is there another Presentment?" omits a necessary fact. Can you spot it? (answer next)
It fails to mention that the Provincial Investigative Team-UMD, tasked with evaluating all investigation findings, RECOMMENDED that a presentment be considered against Bp. Ruch. (see explanation by Abp. Beach, in 6.7.23 letter below, pertinent portion in bold)
Omitted: Bp. Stewart Ruch & @MidwestAnglican Chancellor Charlie Philbrick attempted to bring @The_ACNA Tribunal into the disciplinary process FAR in advance of where the canons place their authority.
Is it possible that @MidwestAnglican Bp. Stewart Ruch is blocking the report's re-release? If so, how? 🧵
After review of investigation reports, the Provincial Investigative Team may have voted to recommend presentment charges against @MidwestAnglican Bp. Stewart Ruch.
Three bishops may have brought those charges forward.
But...
... what if Bp. Ruch filed a complaint pursuant to @The_ACNA's Constitution & Canons, Title IV Canon 4 Section 2, which says that if he believes "there are in circulation rumors, reports, or allegations affecting his personal or official character" he may demand an investigation.
God hears the cries of the little girl whose abuser stole her childhood, her security, and her joy.
"Justice" after 51 court hearings: the minimum sentence for each count & those 3 grueling years (in which he is alleged to have committed rape) given credit as time served.🧵
God hears the cries of the girl's mother after yet another day of being forced to sit silently, white-knuckle-gripping her husband's hand as the abuser's defense lawyer sought to downplay his influence & the family's trust, and lied about the defendant's lack of criminal past.
God hears her cries when our criminal justice system cannot care enough to bring in the voices of expert witnesses to testify to the prevalence of child sexual abuse committed in the presence of other adults.
