The ADL knew ahead of anybody else how Twitter's new owner would be in a unique position to expose the Government censorship apparatus leaning heavily on Twitter to suppress accounts that dared to resist or question or expose the official fake narratives on a host of subjects.

And as we all know, @elonmusk confirmed the worst fears of @JGreenblattADL by exposing the massive amount of government-aided and abetted censorship that had been going on here by releasing the Twitter Files & handing evidence to Congress.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL The exposure of the Censorship State & @JGreenblattADL's key role in helping that Censorship State to acquire targets for politically-motivated censorship went from a potential threat to the ADL to being an actual threat.

The smart thing to do would have been to back off.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL Instead it appears that behind the scenes for the last 6 months, the ADL's response to the exposure of illegal gov't-driven censorship on Twitter, FB and other social media platforms has been to ramp up its boycott efforts to make @elonmusk do the backing off.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL Eventually, what the ADL was doing, mounting & sustaining an assault on Twitter behind the scenes by making vapid and untrue accusations of 'anti-semitism' and 'racism', was going to boil to the surface.

Musk has now taken the ADL's advertising boycott actions public.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL What's interesting about the defamation lawsuit that Musk is now threatening is that as X/Twitter's owner, he has access & ownership of all correspondence between the company and the ADL going back to the years before he acquired the company.

Not like he can't prove his case.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL The response of the federal gov't to Musk exposing their Censorship State apparatus has been the Biden DOJ suddenly instigating multiple investigations of Musk and X/Twitter for reasons that are specious at best.

It is clear retaliation.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL Since the ADL wasn't going to stop its crusade to damage Twitter, as the organization is heavily invested in maintaining and building and spreading the Censorship State, by taking the conflict public at this point, Musk gains an advantage by focusing attention on the group.

The ADL has managed for some time now to maintain a cultural reputation it does not deserve.

It became a blatant politically partisan outfit over a decade ago.

And now it's being exposed as a key player in the violation of the First Amendment rights of American citizens.

If @elonmusk does file this defamation lawsuit against @JGreenblattADL, he's going to get discovery on top of any records already in his possession.

While Musk doesn't have anything to hide, I'm not sure the ADL is ready for the increased exposure such a lawsuit will bring.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL If the ADL is blowing smoke about increases in anti-semitic or racist activity on Twitter since Musk's acquisition of the platform, and they cannot present any evidence in court to demonstrate the truth of such a claim, Musk will win his suit easily.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL On the other hand, plaintiff in a defamation case does not only carry the burden of proving the accused made defamatory statements...Musk would also have to demonstrate to the court that he and his company suffered real harm due to the lies being told by @JGreenblattADL.

@elonmusk @JGreenblattADL If Musk can definitively prove on the court record that the ADL not only led a crusade with advertisers against his company based on defamatory & untrue accusations, but also that he & X/Twitter suffered real financial & reputational harm, he'll win substantial damages.

We are at an unique time in the American Experiment when the government has been caught red-handed engaging in blatantly unconstitutional and illegal censorship of its own citizens by strong-arming social media companies.

The issues censored were not inconsequential.

Any organized group or organization that has committed itself to aiding and abetting the federal government in the commission of its crimes against its own citizens is a threat to the body politic.

Right now, I'm looking at you, @JGreenblattADL.

And so is everyone else.
