The AstraZeneca Files are really revealing.

There are a total of 26 participants who had a mention of atrial fibrillation (AF) in their adverse event reports.

At first glance it looks benign - but it really isn't.

There were 12 AF events in the AZ group

and 14 in the placebo group.

The placebo group is half as big so this is the equivalent of 28 when comparing to the AZ group.

But there's more to this story.

Of the 12 cases of AF in the AZ group,

3 were also given Pfizer and
1 was also given Moderna.

Given that only 6.4% of the AZ group had an additional vaccine that means the rate of AF was more than seven times as high in those given mRNA.

Although the placebo group looked bad at first, in fact there was only a single case who only had placebo.

5 also had Pfizer
6 had Moderna
2 had J&J

25% of placebo group had an additional vaccine.

That makes the risk with placebo only 39 x lower than the risk with vaccine.

The dates are redacted so we cannot know the order of events for certain but that is true of both groups so a comparison remains fair.

The one participant who had AF after only placebo had covid.

Three other participants also had covid mentioned in their AF adverse event.
