This man's name is Rick Rescorla.

22 years ago today, Rick disobeyed orders, and saved 2700 lives.

Rick was the head of security for Morgan Stanley in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. He warned that the Towers' basements were vulnerable to attack.

His warnings fell on deaf ears.

Then the 1993 attack happened, and people started listening to him.

After that attack, Rick implemented regular evacuation drills, using his megaphone to direct the thousands of employees out of their offices, down the stairwells, and out of the building to safety.

Born in Cornwall, Rick would sing Welsh and Cornish songs from his megaphone, as he directed the employees out of the building.

He would routinely tell all of the employees: in an emergency, no matter what chaos is happening around you, no matter what anyone tells you, leave your offices, go down the stairwells, and leave the building.

Rick told his wife Susan that he suspected another attack on the World Trade Center would happen, this time by air.

And 22 years ago today, on September 11, 2001, that attack happened.

When the first plane hit the North Tower, the Port Authority announced over the South Tower's speaker system "Please do not leave the building. This area is secure."

Rick ignored them.

"The dumb sons of b------s told me not to evacuate," he said to his best friend Dan. "They said it's just Building One. I told them I'm getting my people the f--k out of here."

And so Rick picked up his megaphone as he had done so many times before, told his employees not to listen to the orders, and directed them out of the building.

His Cornish songs helped keep their nerves calm as they evacuated, even after the second plane hit their Tower.

Once he had successfully evacuated his employees, Rick went back to look for survivors.

But first, he called his wife Susan.

"Stop crying. I have to get these people out safely. If something should happen to me, I want you to know I've never been happier. You made my life."

Rick rushed back to the South Tower.

That was the last time anyone saw him alive.

All but 6 of the more than 2700 Morgan Stanley employees survived.

Had they obeyed the Port Authority, they would all be dead.

Thankfully, they listened to Rick instead.

Rest in Peace, Rick. Thank you for your service.

This man's name is Porter Feller.

A police officer lied to Porter and told him he put someone in a hospital, and he killed himself. Image
Back in May of 2018, Porter got into a minor fender bender with another vehicle. No one was hurt.

Whether he didn't know what happened, or he was scared, for whatever reason he drove away.

Officer Matthew Kerby of the @SeattlePD was tasked with finding Porter.
In the body cam footage of the incident, Kerby says he's going to lie to find him. "It's a lie, but it's fun" he says.

Kerby tells Porter's friend that Porter "was involved in a hit-and-run earlier and left a woman in critical condition" and that "she might not survive." Image

This is Rodney and Temecia Jackson.

CPS workers took their newborn child, and put her in foster care, where her health is declining, because they used a midwife's services instead of a pediatrician's. Image
Temecia gave birth to their third child, Mila, at home.  They used the services of Dr. Edinbyrd, a certified midwife.

After Mila was born, Rodney and Temecia took her to a pediatrician for a newborn checkup. Image
The pediatrician told them that Mila had some jaundice, and recommended treatment.

Rodney and Temecia had their midwife, Dr. Edinbyrd, performed the treatment.

Because they didn't use the pediatrician's services, the pediatrician contacted CPS.

Last week, there was a shooting at East High School in Colorado.

Thankfully, only the shooter was killed.

Sadly, Colorado government is using it as an excuse to turn more legal, peaceful gun owners into criminals.
The shooter was carrying in a "gun free zone", which is already illegal.

He had a "ghost gun" (homemade firearm), which was banned in Colorado last year.

He was stopped and searched by security, and shot two school officials. This is, of course, also illegal.
So what does the Colorado state government want to do?

Put more restrictions on legal, peaceful gun owners, of course.

As Colorado's gun laws have gotten more strict, their crime rate has continued to rise, because gun control only protects criminals.

Three years ago this week, America locked down.

In response to COVID, governors across the country acted under the direct guidance of federal health agencies, and made it a crime to work, visit loved ones, or even go outside at certain times.
Schools, churches, and small businesses were ordered shut down, and anyone who didn't comply was arrested.

We saw horrifying increase in suicides, drug abuse, joblessness, homeless, childhood learning delays, and much more.
Shut-down orders led to supply breakdowns, and barren store shelves.

Lives and livelihoods were destroyed.

Just over a month ago, the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio caused metric tons of toxic chemicals to spew into the air and water.

Many locals are already suffering health issues as a result, and tens of thousands pets and wildlife have been reported dead.
It will take years, maybe decades, to know just how much damage this disaster has done.

Of course, the EPA has claimed that everything is perfectly fine, and the media has all but forgotten already.

But we haven't forgotten.
Next week, I will be touring Ohio and speaking with activists, students and residents around the state.

I will also go to East Palestine, speak with the locals about what they're experiencing, and help get their story out to the American people.

North Carolina is on the cusp of legalizing medical cannabis, and you can help.

The NC Compassionate Care Act would allow cannabis to be prescribed and distributed for medical needs, and it has already passed the Senate.
This bill would be an incredible help countless veterans with PTSD, cancer patients, and many other people with health conditions who would like to be able to use cannabis, which is far safer and more effective than the currently legal big pharma products.
It only needs to be passed by the House, and then it'll be off to the Governor to sign it into law.

Here's how you can help:

1. If you're a NC resident, go to this link to find your State Rep and ask them to support the NC Compassionate Care Act: ncleg.gov/findyourlegisl…
