Goodness, I have been explicitly threatened with being locked up for unreasonably expressing a desire to attend choral evensong at Gloucester Cathedral. Wi ever heard if the Gloucester Msrtyrs? Especially the agnostic ones 1/4

This lets them use control and restraint tevniwues to keep me locked in my room, notwithstanding the fact that I can now easily make the 20-minute walk from the care home to the cathedral. I am already seen as a flight risk after repeatedly requesting to be allowed home 3/4
A DoL order has replaced the straitjacket. And they clue is in the name; deprivation of liberty. If Imaje an unreasonable request or attempt to leave the curtilage of this @GlosCC unit, I will be forcibly confined. And all for wanting to attend an Anglican service. Just fancy 4/4
Perhaps @GlosCC looks at its mentions. Care home manager comes over and says wearily, “I’m losing the will to live; a taxi has been booked to take you to evensong and back with a carer” sadly the draconian DoL request remains. Hallelujah.
