I had 2 Moderna vaccinations and a booster and was hospitalized for acute pericarditis last year. I was afraid for my life.

The medical community minimized vaccine myopericarditis in young men early on. This we now know was a serious mistake.

Back in those days, CDC would have still recommended further boosters for me, despite my pericarditis.

Because I wasn't insane, I didn't get any additional shots. But some companies did mandate additional shots, based on CDC advice, even to men who experienced myopericarditis.

Thankfully this advice has shifted. But this did not happen until after innumerable avoidable vaccine injuries to young men.

These mistakes undermined trust in public health. I now trust public health messaging much less. The vaccines were a godsend for older, at-risk people. The data still show that, even if there is an ever-growing controversy about the effectiveness of boosters, which the public health establishment refuses to test using randomized controlled trial designs.

But the CDC's messaging for young adults continues to lack nuance and undermines trust in public health authorities and harms young people. Nowhere else in the world are the booster recommendations as aggressive--and evidence-free--as they are from the CDC.

I don’t know if my pericarditis was caused by the vaccine, but it is suspicious. I continue to read and learn, and I believe that for older people vaccination might be very important. This despite dissenting views by pro-vaccination figures like Paul Offit, who suggests that even older people should not get boosted.

For me, it’s clear that my COVID vaccinations almost certainly caused more harm than good, and I regret having received them.

I am reading to learn whether in healthy young adult men, any vaccination makes sense.

It is incredibly disappointing to learn that the vaccines that I assured people were safe were not safe, and that I was wrong.

When I was told in comments that the vaccine might have been responsible for my pericarditis, I blocked everyone who suggested it.

I was emotional and closed-minded and wrong.

I should have done better and questioned more and I am sorry.
For skeptics, here is a reference.

I started to believe that my pericarditis might have been related to the vaccine only after seeing these data.

The data speak loudly and are hard to ignore.

For non-Moderna vaccines, so far things are unclear to me. But see these two references for very young adults and children.

The best evidence shows no effect of N95s on respiratory viral infection, even among healthcare workers who know how to wear N95s properly.

Yet we are told by "experts" that we should mask up using N95s for the next "wave" of COVID19.

This is hygiene theater.

Do not comply. Image
Note:

The same result is seen among the general population on page 175. Image

This is Karl.

For the past two weeks he has been coming to my door everyday for food and water.

I jokingly named him Karl, The One-Eyed, Emperor Slayer.

Because having one eye is kind of hardcore.

Here are some photos I took over these past few weeks.

Now unfortunately… ImageImageImageImage
Unfortunately, I came home late last night and found that Karl’s bad eye had begun to ooze.

It wasn’t just a bad eye.

It was infected.

I didn’t want him to die so I took him to the emergency clinic.

To save Karl, the eye had to be removed…
It cost $1200 but I decided to save Karl😭

Karl now really has just one eye.

He has to stay in my apartment for the next two weeks. Image

New paper using data from 29 countries calculated COVID death rate:

0-19 years old 0.0003%
20-29 0.002%
30-39 0.011%
40-49 0.035%
50-59 0.123%
60-69 0.506%

0-69 0.063-0.082%.

94% of the global population is 0-69.

In other words, Covid policy sacrificed the young to the old. Image
. @gbdeclaration was right and its critics were wrong.

Pandemic policy was a lesson in mass hysteria. We now understand how the great unspeakable atrocities of ages past have occurred.

They occurred in the name of the good, riding on an intense, blinding zealotry.
We no longer look at ourselves as the products of enlightened progress but as containing within us the madness, darkness, and irrationality of ages past.

New paper in @jclinicalinvest suggests that a large number of COVID deaths may have been caused by mechanical ventilators and other hospital complications, not COVID itself.

This would explain the exceptionally high COVID mortality in e.g. Italy and NYC.

... where ventilator use was much higher before clinicians sounded the alarm and scaled back their use.
VAP = ventilator-associated pneumonia

Qatar study:

Death rate from COVID19 vaccine was estimated by this study to be as high as 1-in-100,000.

CDC study:

Death rate from COVID in unvaccinated 12-17-yos during late Omicron was 0.01-in-100,000 weekly, or 0.52-in-100,000 yearly.

Why are we vaccinating kids again? ImageImage
Additional caveats include:

1. It's not clear whether Qatar study estimate is correct. It could be higher or lower.

2. Strength of vaccine response is likely to be higher in younger populations, which may further enhance risk: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33906236/
