Inflicting on #Israel over 100 killed, 1000 wounded, & an unknown number of prisoners in 1 day (not over yet) is the most significant attack suffered by the Israelis for the last 50 years. #Hamas can't hold the positions outside #Gaza & will have to abandon the settlements soon.
Notwithstanding the support of the entire West in armament, finance and intelligence, #Israel is far from invincible. A small group of determined Palestinians armed with solid will and motivations broke the Israeli image and pride in a few hours.
#Israel is not facing #Hezbollah, armed with drones, precision missiles, anti-ship missiles, drone boats and over 7000 Special Forces displayed on the borders. It is facing a surrounding city, #Gaza, overwhelmed with spies but where rockets are fabricated locally.
After 10 hours, #Israel is recovering its calm and control, began bombing #Gaza and aiming to regain control of the settlements. The Israeli response is still to come by. Netanyahu is not someone who likes long wars. Therefore, the bombing will continue for a while.
No invasion of #Gaza would be possible coz #Israel wld lose many soldiers. Israel will start target killing and assassinations to compensate for its lost pride and image. The last wars against Gaza lasted 52 days, 24 days and 12 days. We see. Israel is looking for some victories.
The element of #Hezbollah engaging the battle is still to be considered, depending only on the course of the battle and how far Netanyahu and his far-right-wing government would go.

#Israel is firing against "Gost militants" on the borders with #Lebanon. A cat or a wild animal is triggering an Israeli-intensive bombing and a hallucination of "infiltration". The tension of the Israeli soldiers, rightly very afraid, is so high that they don't realise the attack would first come from the sky and not through the fence, to start with.
Let me explain what happened on the borders between #Lebanon and #Hezbollah:
When Hezbollah bombed the Israeli Radar Hill in the occupied Shebaa Farms and Kfarshouba hills, Israel retaliated by bombing next to Hezbollah's tent as a warning shot. This procedure was adopted by Israel in the first years of the war in #Syria. Israel would bomb meters ahead of a Hezbollah truck carrying weapons, and the driver would abandon it. So, Israel avoids human casualties for fear of Hezbollah retaliation.
The Hezbollah tent drove Israel to ask the US intervention for Hezbollah to remove it, claiming it is an Israeli territory.
When Israel bombed meters ahead of the tents, the Hezbollah militants abandoned the tent so Israel was able to destroy it.
Hezbollah instructed the militants to dress in another tent in the same place and remain in it if Israel sends a warning. This is precisely what happened in the next hour. However, when Israel shot a warning bomb, Hezbollah remained in the tent. So Israel did nothing, for fear of killing Hezbollah that is looking for any pretext to unleash hell on Israel.
Today, Israel bombed empty locations on the Lebanese borders and destroyed a known empty location at Dheira village.
This escalation will ultimately lead to a broader confrontation in due course.
Today, militants broke the fence on the Lebanese border and wounded 3 Israeli soldiers. #Israel starts to realise that #Hezbollah is determined. Netanyahu is calling upon 300,000 reservists to prepare for a multi-front battle.
Palestinians have the right to defend themselves.
They have been dying for the last 75 years. Sending Israeli troops to #Gaza will change nothing. On the contrary, instead of dying slowly, humiliated, & begging, they were satisfied to show the world the IDF humiliated & defeated.
We are on day 3. Many things can still happen, and if @Natanyahu doesn't stop now, many surprises will hit him very hard, and he will end up, sooner or later, negotiating. Whatever happens, this is the end of Netanyahu's political future, and he will go to jail afterwards.
@natanyahu #Israel is on a state of alert on the borders with #Lebanon because it expects an intervention following the massacre that Israel plans to carry out after being blessed by the most hypocritical Western communities.
This is just the beginning. #Palestine won't be alone.
#Israel said #Hamas attacked its military Barracks & settlements, killing in a few hours at least 400 people, 4 Brigadier Generals & officers operating among the elite forces. A memorable hit to the "invincible" Israeli Army.
FT IDF Brigadier General Nimrod Aloni was captured.
# Israel's Prime Minister, the armed forces commander, announced the "State of War" without consulting the government's opinion and waiting for a collective decision. He has the legal right to do so, but a considerable escalation is looming. The question: on how many fronts?
Update:
500 Israeli killed
2100 were wounded, of which 20 were critical and 320 serious.
According to my information, there will be more escalation from #Lebanon today and every day until @netanyahu accepts what has happened and negotiates. Otherwise, we are going towards an all-out war. Will explain further in my forthcoming article how #Israel fell into a trap.
There will be many pretexts for further confrontation between #Hezbollah and #Israel.
Most Arab countries who normalised with #Israel celebrate #Gaza's attack on the Israeli military barracks and illegally built settlements. The celebration is a reflection of the gap between the Arab leadership and the will of the population concerning Israel.
#Israel is hungry for revenge and blood. Its objective is to destroy the infrastructure & civilian constructions. He has hundreds, yes 100s, of Israeli prisoners, spread in #Gaza. He will apply the Hannibal Directive, carelessly killing his own soldiers. haaretz.com/2014-08-03/ty-…
Sooner or later, #Israel will negotiate the 100s of prisoners' release. Instead, it is bombing the homes of #Hamas leaders, as usual, w/ no strategic values, & #Gaza towers. Netanyahu said he is cutting Gaza's water & electricity, violating international laws & civ human rights.
It is a battle between the land owners (Palestinians) and #Israel that enjoys one of the most modern and equipped armies in the Middle East, which lacks the spirit of fighting and ignores the meaning of living under tyranny and humiliation for decades.
For the last 45 minutes, it is unclear why #Gaza launched 100s of rockets against northern Israeli settlements. Most probably, #Israel carried out an assassination/special ops attack against a Palestinian leader or Gaza.
The Palestinian reaction seems well coordinated. The intensity and sudden beginning of the bombing surprised both the Palestinians and the Israeli this morning.
So far, Israeli settlements within an area of 80 km of #Gaza have been targeted this morning. The Palestinian command will soon explain the motive.
