It appears the Chinese censor is shadow-banning the Israeli Embassy on Weibo. Its account can't be searched for.

A disgraceful tweet by @Yale professor @ZareenaGrewal (later deleted), justifying the kidnap of Noa on the ground of her previous military service. Noa is a university student, attending a music festival.

why does Guancha mask Al Jazeera’s logo from the video clip, stealing their content? This is the asymmetrical info warfare China is playing: their surrogates get on foreign media all the time pushing propaganda, but no foreign views contradicting Beijing can be heard in China

Generally speaking PMs and Premiers should avoid directly critiquing their own colleagues on foreign policy when travelling abroad, especially in a country which holds two Australians in arbitrary detention and places numerous unfair trade sanctions on Australian products
This is basic political etiquette: as elected leaders, they represent ALL Australians, not just their own party, when visiting foreign countries on taxpayer funded trips. @MarkMcGowanMP could have simply said “there are diverse views in Aus on how to handle China relations”
Granted this is a hot mic moment talking to an Australian businessman, but still his own team sent out the video, on purpose.

There are five groups that are actively or tacitly supporting Russia, or at least tolerate Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The first one, the most despicable and intellectually dishonest, is the tankie left, as Wang explained here
The 2nd group, the US hard right. These people share Putin’s “anti-woke” ideology and admire his authoritarian rule as a way to restore white Christian conservative way of life. Such as @TuckerCarlson and Donald Trump

The 3rd one, China, the only country capable of challenging US dominance of world order. It sees US as the ultimate enemy in thwarting China’s plan to take over Taiwan and achieve“national rejuvenation”. Beijing hopes to have Russia as an ally in the final showdown.

ChatGPT is trending on Chinese social media. A friend just shared this article about the author’s attempt to ask a WeChat app based on the AI platform why some people’s WeChat account are suspended. It wouldn’t answer. And a few minutes later, the article was banned by WeChat
The AI language learning module is only as good as its data inputs. That's why it is dubious if a Chinese chatbot would work, considering the highly censored nature of the Chinese internet. What if the Chinese bot were asked "explain what's the Tank Man?"
Why would a Chinese chatbox work better than the Chinese search engine Baidu?

Here is the picture search result of "tank man" on Baidu. Notice what is missing? Web page search returns ZERO hit.
