1/ THREAD there is a common narrative on the right that Jews are receiving their comeuppance for supporting immigration of people who hate them into the west. Wanted to gather some data on Jewish opinions on immigration, Islam and more from various countries.
2/ I am not trying to present any thesis on this issue, just gather data. Please add more if you have it.
Israel: Plurality of Israelis think that Europe should take in Syrian refugees (in 2015), while 80% don't think that Israel should. timesofisrael.com/poll-shows-few…
3/America: Jews are more supportive of immigration than the general population as a whole. This article by from a few years ago goes over a bunch of data: web.archive.org/web/2019011312…
4/ Looking specifically at the muslim ban, most Jewish groups except for Orthodox (roughly 10% of the Jewish population) heavily oppose it. unz.com/anepigone/jews…
5/ It is worth noting that younger Jews seem more sympathetic to immigration restrictionism than older Jews. unz.com/anepigone/immi…
8/ This poll asked Jews more specific questions about how they feel about Muslims, and found that Jews scored the lowest on Islamophobia, even lower than Muslims themselves. thejc.com/news/news/jews…
10/ Jews in Canada seem to mostly support left-wing parties now, despite that they seem to mostly support the conservatives a decade ago. (1st graph from source above) ijvcanada.org/wp-content/upl…
11/ Couldn't find a poll asking about immigration, but this article stated "the majority of Canadian Jews had usually voted for the Liberals, who were seen as the party of immigration and tolerance, which are important values for many Jewish voters." thecjn.ca/news/canada/th…
12/ Could find any good data from Australia, but Jews seem to support the Liberal party, which is their center right party: haaretz.com/jewish/2013-08…
14/ This seem to largely be because the labour party particularly Jeremy Corbyn is considered to be anti-semitic. Nearly 90% of Jews said he was an anti-semite in 2019, and nearly 50% said they would consider leaving if he won. aljazeera.com/opinions/2019/…
15/ Despite their right partisan lean, Jews supported remaining in the UK 2 to 1. The Brexit campaign was seen as pro immigration restriction at the time, though ofc the actual impact was mixed. timesofisrael.com/brexit-poll-je…
16/ I couldn't find a poll asking UK Jews directly about whether they support increasing or decreasing immigration, but less than 1% said it was their most important issue in this poll. The plurality (28%) said anti-semitism was their most important issue. survation.com/wp-content/upl…
17/ France. This article from about a decade ago says that Jews disproportionately vote for the centre right UMP party with minorities voting socialist, and for the National Front: forward.com/news/breaking-…
18/ In the 2017 Macron v Le Pen election, 96% of French Israelis voted for Macron. Though of course these people are not necessarily representative of Jews as a whole. timesofisrael.com/french-israeli…
19/ Jews may have had reason to oppose Le Pen because she supports banning Kosher slaughter, and male circumcision. By some unofficial data, Zemmour seems to have done well among Israeli expats. jpost.com/diaspora/artic…
20/ Looking at Europe as a whole, most Jews say racism an intolerance towards Muslims are problems. And 72% said intolerance towards Muslims had increased in the past 5 years fra.europa.eu/sites/default/…
21/ Most also said immigration was a problem, but that could be interpreted as immigration in general, or governments lack of support for immigrants.
22/ Norway. This study looked at Muslim and Jewish opinions of each other, and surveyed 13% of Norwegian Jewish population. Muslims were much less likely than the general population disagree that they disliked Jews: idunn.no/doi/epdf/10.18…
23/ But the opposite was true of Jews. They liked Muslims more than the general population.
24/ However, despite being more sympathetic to Muslims than the general population, Jews are much more sympathetic to Israel than the general population.
Thats all I could find for now, add more if you think I am painting an incomplete picture. People who may be interested:

I used to be extremely opposed to drug laws/"the war on drugs" but I am coming around. Some reasons why:
I used to think that there were tons of drug users who are rotting away in prison, but only 4% of people in state prisons are drug possession offenders, and of course many of these are pleas down from more serious charges: city-journal.org/article/the-de…
Also, the people in prison for drugs are not rotting away, the median time served before initial release for drugs possession was about a year: bjs.ojp.gov/content/pub/pd…
1/ Thread about how the US criminal justice system is different and in many ways more lenient than that of other 1st world countries. Main source is Trials Without Truth. amazon.com/Trials-Without…
2/ The author describes how the US criminal justice system is much more more complex, and procedure oriented than those in Europe. Compares it to the rules in American football vs the rules in soccer.
3/ In America, whether a police officer acted appropriately is extremely subjective. Pizzi claims that some students complained about leaving his class, and not knowing what probable cause was.
