the amazing thing about the concept of "human shields" that is repeated totally uncritically by the entire Western media and political class to refer to Palestinians is that it actually perfectly applies to every single Israeli, but they don't even notice that obvious discrepancy
the Israeli regime builds its military installations in the middle of civilian areas. Their buildings are embedded next to schools, shopping malls, kindergartens. Not even underground. It's all above ground. Let alone the settler corridors around Gaza and in the West Bank
look at a map of Gaza and the surrounding area: it is intentionally populated with heavily armed settler communities which are meant to be the first "line of defense". Literal human shields are placed there on purpose to keep Gaza under surveillance and control
now no one in the Western media and political class accepts the argument that all these people are legitimate targets. They're human shields intentionally placed there by Israel. In fact it's infinitely worse: Israel has the resources to not do that, but it chose to anyway
Israel isn't confined to a concentration camp like Gaza. They could have chosen to not embed their military-police infrastructure inside civilian areas. But they didn't. Instead they chose to have raves next to the fence of their concentration camp. Those are your human shields
now go to any media and political class hack in the West and say this to them. They can't even comprehend what you're saying. Because they can't comprehend that the standards they apply to others should apply to them. Instead they will call you a terrorist and end your life
