These are the words of martyr Basel Al-Araj from the last time the Zionist army conducted a ground op in Gaza - and they are just as valuable today.

We must not fall for the propaganda that paints the picture of victory through photos and videos. This is not classical warfare 🧵 Image
The resistance cannot fully stop Zionist tanks and armor from advancing into parts of Gaza, nor did they ever plan to - they have them exactly where they want them, and will make sure the price they pay for being there is unbearable for them.
The daily ambushes against tanks and APCs and soldiers hiding in ruined buildings will continue and grow; the men of the resistance emerge from beneath the ground and from above it, complete their missions and disappear again.
This is not Ukraine; front lines mean nothing in guerilla warfare. The battle is one of attrition, and the resistance will make the occupation pay a harsh price for every day it spends in Gaza, until it is forced to retreat its broken, defeated army out of there.
The Zionist army claims to encircle Gaza city, but the reality is the they are themselves encircled, from beneath the ground.

Even as they pose for their propaganda pictures intended to make the world believe they have accomplished anything, they sink deeper into Gaza’s sands.
The resistance has not used anywhere near the extent of its power; it holds back weapons, capabilities, even its special forces - where are the elite units of Al-Qassam? Where are the tens of thousands of fighters?

Awaiting the time to emerge - there is no call for them yet.
Just as they posed for their pictures in 2014 and left in humiliating defeat so too again God-willing will the Zionist army be broken and defeated, this time around even more resoundingly, in a defeat that began on October 7th and only grew worse for them with each passing day.

Abu Obeida said yesterday: the deeper the occupation army intrude into Gaza, and the longer they stay there, the worse the price they shall pay.
Today these words are already actions.
The attacks of the resistance have been glorious and relentless.
Today so far, we have seen: 🔽 Image
- 2 soldiers killed & 3 injured at point-blank range in Beit Hanoun
- 2 tanks struck on the western axis, including the Commanding Tank of the unit.
- 1 tank struck on the south-western axis
- A special forces unit hiding in a building hit with TBG missile in the north. Image
- 1 tank struck with a dual guerilla-action IED and Yassin-105 attack (NW)
- 1 vehicle struck (W of Gaza City)
- 7 soldiers liquidated at point-blank range (N)
- 1 APC and 1 tank struck & burned (N).
- 1 tank and 1 bulldozer struck (NW)
- 3 vehicles struck (west of Gaza City) Image

🧵Extended translation of Abu Obeida's speech earlier tonight:
In the name of God, most benelovent, most merciful.
"So fight them, that God may punish them by your hands & put them to shame and grant you victory over them and soothe the hearts of a faithful people"
[Qur'an 9:14] Image
Praise be to God, Lord of the universe who wrote: "I shall prevail, I and My messengers" [58:21], and blessings be upon our prophet, the mujahid, the martyr, and upon his kin and companions and those who fought his jihad thereafter.
Oh sons of our mighty people, you who face the machine of murder and terror with immense faith; oh people of our Arab & Islamic Ummah & its mujahideen, oh free people of the world...

Looking at how they are being shot like sitting ducks, a very good question was raised by @macawm3 about why Zionist soldiers have not retreated from the border (as they did in the past when the Lebanese resistance sought to avenge martyrs by targeting soldiers).
[Cont. 🔽]
It would seem there are real calculations in the Zionist army that doing so would leave the border vulnerable to possible mass infiltration from Lebanon.
And that is a problem precisely because of how the surveillance infrastructure has been degraded over the past weeks.
This demonstrates a new strategic edge to the operations on the border: by blinding the enemy in this way, they force them to choose between two painful options:
Either keep their troops within easy range of the resistance, or abandon the border, allowing for easy infiltration.

🧵Thread: Escalation Ladder
The resistance axis have been very gradually escalating operations in the region. But even gradual escalation builds up over time- & this is central to the doctrine of the Escalation Ladder by which they are pressuring the US-Zionist aggression.
As discussed prior, this pressure takes away the one element that the US-Zionist aggression was banking on for their war against Gaza's resistance: time. They will not be allowed a gradual, risk-free operation more akin to a medieval siege than an assault.
Another purpose of the Escalation Ladder is to avoid forcing the US-Zionist enemy into immediate deadly retaliation that leads straight into all-out war.
The below tweet describes how this works very well in the Yemeni context specifically:

The deeper the Zionist army ventures into the city of Gaza, the more the terrain favours guerilla warfare and the resistance - doubly so considering the Zionist army are relying on tanks and APCs out of fear of their soldiers being captured.
The morale hit of having even one soldier captured while on a mission to “rescue captives” doesn’t bear thinking about for them - but this will limit the effectiveness of their ground operation even further, which was already immensely difficult even with conventional tactics.
Indeed the only reason they are still even conducting this operation is that for the first time, withdrawing (i.e. losing to Hamas) is more unthinkable than the massive losses they are taking, and they are forced to accept what would normally have been unacceptable numbers.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Here follows my analysis of the current situation, on the occasion of the fourth week of this war, and in particular with regards to the speech made on Friday by Sayyid Hassan and its profound reverberations. 🧵
Sayyid did not address the Zionist entity but its master, the US. This acknowledges that the US is leading this battle in every material way, and that the Zionist entity, much like the Gulf states, is not an independent actor worth addressing, but a US military protectorate.
But this also meant that, for the 1st time, the Lebanese Resistance is directly challenging not just the occupation, but the United States in its entirety.
A non-state paramilitary group, going head-to-head with the world's mightiest hegemon.
The significance of this is great.
