Peter Thiel of Palantir is a billionaire Trump donor and anarcho-capitalist, he works with Pronomos Capital developing private Governance frameworks via SEZs aka charter cities. Public services are small potatoes, ‘countrypreneurship’ is the goal. #Brexit
Thiel is part of a billionaire network of liberty with controversial plans to build privately owned cities around the world. Thiel works with Pronomos Capital and the Charter Cities Institute,
These people are dangerous and killers of democracy wired.co.uk/article/itana-…
The Charter Cities Institute published a Governance Handbook in 2021, it is 286 pages long, and is the first guide to total corporate rule with no welfare state or public services, everything is privately owned. #Brexit chartercitiesinstitute.org/reference-guid…
Goodbye NHS.
The NHS is to hand a key role in handling patient data and share of a £480m contract to the US spy technology firm Palantir this week. This is the beginning of the end of the public sector accelerated by Brexit . theguardian.com/society/2023/n…
A charter city doesn’t necessarily have to be built, an existing city can be given charter city status. This occurs under radical reforms of governance, working models are Shenzen, Singapore, Kandla, Hong Kong, these were referred to tin the Brexit Leave Campaign.
The Charter Cities Institute ‘A charter city is a new city with new rules. Eg Developing new cities on greenfield sites with significantly devolved administrative and regulatory authority can help countries overcome the political and technical obstacles to 'improving governance'
This is why the Govt expanded the Freeport sites up to 75km, eg Dartmoor, South Devon, Scotland is in the eyes of venture/anarcho- capitalists an absolute goldmine for land grabbing, hence Westminster’s Imperialist stranglehold over the UK's devolved administrations.
The illusion of devolved powers is a neat little puppeteering trick where Scotland and Wales are concerned. Understand that Freeports, SEZs and charter cities are variations on the same theme, total and absolute privatisation.
Think of these 'free zones' as stepping stones in a river, on one side is social democracy, on the other side is a privately governed plutocracy. Brexit UK is removing the stones as it crosses to the other side so there is no way back for generations to come.
My research on Freeports, SEZs and charter cities takes up many hours, I am informing the public at large of the dangers of private governance backed by a network of Governance consulting firms, r/w think tanks and multinationals. Please buy me a Ko-fi🥰 ko-fi.com/europeanpowell

A bit of history to warn you of the next stage of the post-Brexit libertarian experiment. The same catastrophic mistakes of SEZs under Thatcher's term are being turbocharged by Sunak’s 74 SEZs. #BrexitDisaster
In 1978, Tory MPs met in the Waterman’s Arms Pub, Geoffrey Howe was Shadow Chancellor for Thatcher. A neoliberal think tank published a paper on whether the UK should become a low-wage economy so it could compete with Hong Kong and Singapore. #Libertarian
UK’s growth had dropped to 4% while Hong Kong’s was up by 16.9%. Howe said Hong Kong was the child of 2 parents, the UK and China. SEZs proved that you didn’t have to create new nations you could just carve-up old ones for libertarian experiments in Free Market hegemony.
Sunak's 12 Freeports and 74 Special Economic Zones are a manifestation of radical libertarian ideology developed in the 1950's/60s. Free zones are described as 'exit' strategies from the shackles of democracy; the abolition of the welfare state and all public services therein.
Using the tactics of ‘carve-outs’ to insert extraterritorial spaces in designated geographic regions of the host country, Freeports, and SEZS are essentially tax havens that set their own laws beyond the reach of Big Govt. They are emblematic of corporate sovereignty (Sovcorps).
Zones require a deregulated framework so entire regions can privately 'self-govern'. ‘Corporate governance’ is the dream of libertarians and anarcho-capitalists seeking to 'exit' the constraints and obstacles of democracy.
How much money has the UK Government paid Shanker Singham, the brains behind Brexit?
What is Singham's role in British agri post-Brexit?
Who is Shanker Singham and what is he advising on Sunak's 74 SEZs currently being set up across the UK? desmog.com/shanker-singha…
2016 Singham worked with Steve Baker of the ERG and also worked at Legatum London, the HQ of private investment firm Legatum is based in Dubai. 2021, Legatum invested in GB News, who later breached broadcasting rules by misleading viewers over Covid-19 vaccination.
Legatum London has over 40 donors. It has been called "arguably the most influential think tank in Britain pushing its free market pro-Brexit vision and enjoying privileged access to media and ministers" but it has attracted controversy as a result of its opaque, offshore funding
Rishi Sunak is installing 74 Special Economic Zones (SEZ) in the UK.
The zones will hand governance over to corporations. To live in the zone you will have to sign a contract with whichever company runs it.
Do you agree to do this?
Background. Each zone is different in size, eg The Firth of Forth zone in Scotland is 38km wide and covers 70% of the City of Edinburgh. Other zones are up to 75km across.
74 jurisdictions will fall under private rule by law. All part of post Brexit plans for the clean slate.
Under private laws strikes are strictly forbidden in the zone, no FOM, your collapsed local council will come under corporate management, Gove has already appointed ‘emergency managers’ from the private sector to do this.
Sunak’s flagship Teesside Freeport is full of failing GREEN projects. May 2023 Grant Shapps announced a levy of £120 per year on all household energy bills to generate a £3.5 billion subsidy for the hydrogen industry. Huge backlash from MPs on both sides plus Energy Security Sec.
Mayor Houchen snaffled the SeAH Wind-farm project from under the noses of Humber Freeport, got the very first loan from the UK Infrastructure Bank to build it, and handed the £40 million income stream to his property developer cronies.
Sunak’s UK Onshore wind farms have been axed by Net Zero Tories and NIMBYS. Green energy proposals like Green steel, rubber tyre recycling, small modular nuclear reactors, Biomass Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) also scrapped and which BTW can never be ‘Green’
Compare with Sunak's flagship Freeport Teesside fronted by snakeoil salesman Mayor houchen and his business chums. Rinse and repeat for 11 more Freeports and 74 Special Economic Zone. Brexit UK is in serious shit.
Paul Romer was Sunak's mentor at Stanford, Romer stopped working on his Honduras charter city because essentially his dynastic designs were outmaneuvered by other aggressively libertarian Honduran dynasts with even more exclusionary projects on their agenda.
What next? Honduras Prospera in true 'exit' fashion on the advice of Shanker Singham (the brains behind Brexit), Erick Brimen and Titus Gebel moved the charter city project to the Isle of Roatan. Tom Bell created the open source legal system 'ULEX' to 'commodify Governance'.
