Have our SMARTEST humans EVER made a medication that works against bacteria that ALSO works against viruses? NO.

Then why do antibodies form against viruses?

@AmerAcadPeds @USCPSC 43.29 When a pathogen comes into the blood, the b-lymphocytes make antibodies against it and against bacteria, those antibodies are EXTREMELY useful. But how would the b-lymphocyte EVER be able to tell if a pathogen was a bacteria or virus? It would NOT be able to.

@AmerAcadPeds @USCPSC 43.30 Our LABS can't even determine that very easily or very quickly. and you want a CELL that you can't even SEE with the naked eye, you want the b-lymphocyte to be able to DISTINGUISH a bacteria from a virus? NO. the B-lymphocyte is just going to PUMP out antibodies.
