Uber Eats is using AI for pictures of food. It doesn’t know that “pie” means pizza, and it invented a brand of ranch dressing called “Lelnach”

A lot of ppl saying “this is a ghost kitchen” and “this is the restaurant doing this, not Uber Eats”. 1. It’s not a ghost kitchen, it’s a local brick and mortar pizza shop in NYC that’s been around for a long time, and 2, I’m going to call them tomorrow and ask if they did this

A guy from Tony’s named Sal called me back 5 minutes later and said he was very confused what was happening and that he didn’t know what AI was. I tried to explain it and he just said “I don’t know about this stuff, but I didn’t approve these images”
