Angy Fernández - Sé quién soy
Angy is ready to make her Benidorm debut with the help of two major Swedish songwriters. Two-time Eurovision winner Thomas G:son joins forces with Dotter-partner and Melfest rising star Dino Medanhodzic for their second collab this NF season
Dellacruz - Beso en la mañana
Dellacruz makes his debut as a soloist on the Benidorm stage. He previously composed Famous' "La Lola". His song is cowritten by Carlos Almazán, who was also behind Meler's "Mejores" from Benidorm 2022
Jorge González - Caliente
Spanish NF veteran Jorge González is back, having previously attempted to win in '09 and '14. His song is cowritten by David Parejo of "Loviu" and "Postureo" fame, as well as Adrián Ghiardo, another "La Lola" writer
Mantra - Me vas a ver
While Mantra is debuting as a band, member Carlos Marco is no stranger to NF's. As part of Auryn he got close to representing Spain in 2011, and he wrote song for both previous Benidorm fests. He is joined by Melfest/DMGP songwriter Fredrik Sonefors
María Peláe - Remitente
Having written two fan favourites from the OT-era ("Arde" and "Nadie se salva"), María is attempting as a performer for her first time on an ESC stage. Her song is cowritten by her "Arde" cowriter, Alba Reig
Marlena - Amor de verano
The succesful songwriter-duo of Joan Valls Paniza and Rubén Pérez is back after their smash hit, Vicco's "Nochentera" last year. That year they also wrote Rakky Riper's "Tracción"
Miss Caffeina - Bla bla bla
Alberto Jiménez make his return to the Eurovision world (almost). He wrote "Señales", which was set to be Agoney's solo song for the OT Eurovision gala in 2018. However, Agoney was knocked out before the show, and the song was thus never performed
Nebulossa - Zorra
Perhaps the most curious connection of this Benidorm Fest, Nebulossa returns to the ESC spotlight after their attempt in Una Voce per San Marino last year. However, from what I can tell, there have been major changes to the lineup, with only María Bas remaining
That's all! From what I can tell, the remaining have no connections in my database. I'll leave you with this plot of all the connection between Spanish NF songs since 2007. Make sure to give me a follow if want to see more deep dives covering the rest of the NF's this season 🕸️📊

The results of my "What If?" 2020 prediction survey are here. After receiving eurofans assessments of all 2020 entries' jury and televote potentials, these results were fed to a model simulating the contest 100000 times. These are the average results of the simulations
While this methodology sounds simple, it managed to produce more accurate results than the odds for the 2024 contest. Thus I feel like these results serve as an accurate representation of our "collective wisdom" on the 2020 contest
The Big Eurovision Prediction Survey 2025 - Participants results thread 🧵

A quick note on the model: I collected 106 sets of predictions of each country's jury and televote potential. Based on your estimates, I simulated the contest 100000 times, taking into account voting patterns and running order. This thread contains the results of the simulations
