2/ UN Women staff are obliged to be impartial. Yet Deputy Chief @saridug gushingly tweets of meeting Hanan Ashrawi, a former PLO official who has promoted antisemitic blood libels, praises suicide bombers, and justified the Hamas massacre of October 7th.
3/ Sarah Douglas endorsed tweets accusing “the forces of empire” of helping Israel commit “genocide” and America of funding and arming “the genocide of Palestinians.” Yet this UN Women Deputy Chief hasn't liked a single tweet condemning Hamas for its open calls for genocide.

4/ UN officials are barred from partisan campaigning. Yet UN Women's Sarah Douglas routinely endorses tweets by far-left politicians: Rashida Tlaib claiming Israel “is starving Gaza”; AOC calling to condition aid to Israel; and “IfNotNow” endorsing pressure on Senator Warren. Image

Mr. Secretary-General, there are 110 armed conflicts in the world yet the only country you have ever accused of “collective punishment” is Israel. When it is fighting a terrorist group embedded in civilian areas. When you can't name one army that has done it better. Shame on you.
2/ There are 45 armed conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, including Syria, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Turkey, Yemen and Western Sahara.

Yet @antonioguterres, in none of these cases have you ever accused any party of "collective punishment."

Tirana Hassan heads @hrw. On Oct. 17, her Omar Shakir said Israel bombed a hospital and killed 500. “I've been to morgues, but the scenes I'm seeing...at a loss for words. Abject horror.”

Turn out it was all a lie. They admit it was the Jihad. But look at her weasel words now:

2/ HRW has two standards for assessing evidence, speed of reaction, and language used.

If Israel can be blamed, they treat every Hamas claim as fact, immediately condemn Israel, with dramatic flourish.

If it's a Hamas crime, they need time to verify, using very cautious words.
3/ Even as their research concludes it was a Palestinian rocket—as we knew a month ago—they use weasel words not to say it: “Looks like it was caused by a rocket. Palestinian groups often use rockets.” Hmm.

“Investigation needed...”
