🧵IDF soldiers broke protocols tragically killing hostages with white flags. Key question is why soldiers may have thought they were a threat? Because of at least TEN Hamas war crimes which greatly impact IDF actions, especially in Shejaiya where this occurred. Here they are: 1/
ONE: Hamas dresses as civilians. If Hamas wore uniforms as required by international law, IDF would never have thought civilians might be combatants. The hostages would still be alive. Hamas violates Geneva Protocol I.44.3 2/ Image
TWO: Hamas regularly violates “Prohibition of perfidy” by feigning civilian status, a key factor in tragic hostage incident. Hamas acts like civilians, enters homes set up with arms, exits as civilian, enters another pre-set attack position. A core Hamas battle strategy 3/ Image
THREE: Hamas uses human shields. Not just hiding among & under civilians which is also war crime. But sending civilians as spotters or to disrupt IDF actions as reported in Jabaliya in just one case from story below. Hamas violates Protocol I.51.7 risking lives of civilians. 4/ Image
FOUR: Hamas illegally booby traps bodies, certain civilian sites, even children’s backpack (see news story) & lures troops using things like baby recordings. This has killed IDF soldiers. War crimes under Protocol on Prohibitions & Restrictions on Use of Mines, Booby-Traps. 5/ Image
FIVE: Hamas violates Protocol I.58 as they have an affirmative duty to avoid locating military objectives from "densely population areas" – like Shejaiya neighborhood where hostages killed. This is the core Hamas war crime: embedding within civilian areas. 6/ Image
SIX: Hamas regularly violates Geneva Protocol I.53 by using mosques for weapons storage, attacks, tunnels etc. Many documented examples. While not directly related to killing of hostages, this & other war crimes speak to IDF troops knowing that NOTHING is too low for Hamas. 7/ Image
SEVEN: Further in the category of NOTHING being too low for Hamas: rape on 10/7 and sexual violence against hostages (10 hostages reported this) is a unique war crime. 8/ Image
EIGHT: Hamas tortured and caused physical suffering to hostages. From placing burn marks on children to identify them if they escaped to just murdering hostages they violate Geneva IV.32. Nothing is too low & depraved for Hamas. IDF has internalized this. 9/ Image
NINE: Hamas use of hospitals for its military actions is now well documented, from hostage taking at Rantisi & Shifa hospitals, tunnels, Hamas firing positions, weapons inside incubators. Nothing too low for Hamas. Nothing can be trusted. Several laws broken like this one: 10/ Image
TEN: Finally of course: taking hostages is a war crime per Geneva IV.34. If Hamas had not taken hostages in the first place they’d still be alive today. Their death – and every civilian death in this war – is ultimately for the account of Hamas. 11/ Image
Another 10 war crimes could easily be listed (e.g. rockets). It is dishonest & willfully ignorant to assess killing of hostages by IDF without taking into account these massive Hamas war crimes IDF soldiers deal with daily. UN & Fake NGOs of course pretend they don't know. END

UN's Gaza Famine Fraud Exposed:

➡️IPC tested 15,700 kids for malnutrition in July and found 12%—below 15% famine threshold
😕Problematic. So what did they do?
➡️Use a smaller incomplete 7,100 sample showing 16%
✅Solved. Now UN can claim famine in Gaza!

Evidence & sources:Image
IPC used MUAC (Mid-Upper Arm Circumference) of kids to assess starvation where 15%=famine. But instead of using full July dataset they dishonestly used a smaller incomplete sample of 7,127 kids. Table 18 of report shows 16.4% in Gaza Governorate—just enough to declare famine. 2/Image
On Aug 8, the State of Palestine Nutrition Cluster released a LARGER dataset of 15,749 kids—same Gaza sites, same methods—showing 12% malnutrition, below famine. You don’t need a PhD to know a sample twice the size is more reliable—and that ignoring it is academic fraud. 3/Image

🧵+972 article claims Israel killed only 8,900 combatants branding all others civilians. But piece admits those are only NAMED fighters. The fact that Israel has identified so many by name is remarkable. Pretending this proves the IDF didn't kill 20,000+ combatants is absurd. 1/ Image
The article of course elevates Hamas data as accurate, ignoring that it includes natural deaths, deaths caused by Hamas, child combatants and numerous other anomalies. It also falsely asserts Israel accepts the Hamas data even though Israel said it officially does not. 2/ Image
As usual for +972, it elevates anonymous and unofficial IDF sources, but buries the official statements from identified sources that contradict their entire thesis. They make much that the first response by the IDF was vague, but then later specifically disputed the data. END Image

🧵The “200 journalists killed in Gaza” claim is FALSE. So far at least 30 — plus the recently killed Anas Al-Sharif — are confirmed combatants based on open sources & social media. Many more will be exposed. Hamas apologists ignore the evidence. Examples next: 1/ Image
Example 1: Mohammed Nabil Al-Zaq — listed as a “journalist” killed in Nov 23 — was in fact a confirmed combatant with multiple photos showing him in military gear and confirmed terrorist group ties. 2/ Image
Example 2: Yaqoub Al-Barash — listed as a “journalist” killed in Nov 23 — was in fact a confirmed combatant with multiple tributes as a “mujahid” and a poster with a fighter image with the comment “with every hand fighting.” 3/ Image

🧵The credibility of genocide studies has collapsed in its current assessment of Gaza. Fabricated quote snippets to prove intent, dismissal of legal precedent, omission of Hamas, and refusal to analyze the war itself have debased the field. Here’s a debunk of recent articles: 1/ Image
Raz Segal raced to publish the libel on Oct 13, 2023 even as Israeli bodies were still being collected inside Israel. He admits its “very difficult to prove intent” then lies by misstating Herzog, Netanyahu and even Naftali Bennet. See thread. 2/
Prof. Blatman & Goldberg wrote a piece for Haaretz claiming genocide using fabricated quotes. For example they claim Netanyahu said “we must destroy Amalek” but he only said “remember” Amalek. See thread: 3/

🧵Melanie O’Brien is yet another “genocide scholar” who abandons legal standards to accuse Israel of genocide. She contradicts her own scholarship on “special intent,” cites fake quotes, marks 10/7 as an “escalation against Palestinians” and erases Hamas as a factor. Detail: 1/ Image
Some background: In a Feb 2024 lecture O’Brien says proving genocidal intent is extremely difficult, citing ICJ rulings that evidence must “only point” to this intent, the “only inference reasonably drawn.” She now egregiously ignores that standard entirely for Israel. 2/ Image
O’Brien expresses twice in her lecture a “hope” that the ICJ moves away from the requirement that genocide must be the "only inference" that could be reasonably drawn. We know why—she wants Israel to be guilty of genocide but she knows the current standard does not apply. 3/ Image

🧵Hamas films its own war crimes— booby-trapping tunnel shafts in residential homes, fighting in civilian clothes, firing rockets at Israeli towns. Then people like @piersmorgan wonder why many areas of Gaza are destroyed. Hamas shows us why. Journalists ignore it. Examples: 1/ Image
Hamas openly films its fighters ALWAYS in civilian clothes burying IEDs across Gaza—like here in Jabaliya. This is their central war strategy. Then people act shocked that areas of Gaza are in ruins, shocked the IDF is not going into these areas without removing threat first. 2/ Image
Here are more war crimes filmed by Hamas themselves. Here seen burying rocket launchers, admittedly aimed at civilian locations in the Gaza Envelope. It's all there for the media to report, but somehow they can't "find" these videos. 3/ Image
