ok here we go...
why am i pissed off today...
lies..
and ukraine not getting what they need to win the war...
here is the target today, the scrapyard outside the gate of red river army depot.... and the 600 verified bradleys they are cutting up Image
the ukraine army got 186 M2 bradleys... thats it, and they have lost about 40+ of them Image
there are NO more bradleys in the US military that are surplus to send to ukraine by my count after the needs of the army and the DONATION of 500 of them to Morrocco Image
but here the thing is that the scrap yard at red river has 600 brads that they are task to cut up... that im being told were sold for 1.00 ea.
yes they were sold, all 600 for 1.00 ea, and many were driven to the yard
now many people that want to cover for the admin or dont want them to go to ukraine are saying they are OLD and 1st ed bradleys...
this is not true, at all...
i just got pictures i can post of them
yes some are missing running gear or tracks, some missing hatches (they are on the ground near by), and some need motor work,,,, but the hulls are there, they are in great shape and can be fixed quick with a small crew.Image
another picture, notice the new type commanders protection.. thats not a old bradley Image
currently the vehicles are missing guns, and the turret electronics boxes. some need tracks, and the hatches reinstalled... but are there. Image
from pictures many still have the internal commo systems, the fire systems, all the main electronics in them and are not stripped... many have full of extra parts in them.. Image
and it gets worse... they have 100s of M113s that are still fully mission capable.. here is a mortar carrier that they have that they drive around... that is going to scrap!!!! WHAT THE FUCK?????? Image
yes i am mad, we need to stop making excuses and fix this
if you know anyone in congress pleas pass this on.. the company can export if the DOD allows them.
and just to be clear
i spent 10 years on a bradley
i am a military vehicle expert (i have 50+)
i run a museum
have had laws passed i put together
and have done battle with the DLA and wone...
if anyone has questions i can help
to convert them to a ambulance version you ...
pull the turret (11 tons gone).
replace the ring with a plate and a simple hatch...
fix the tracks... and thats it.
you can have it up and running with parts in under 4 days with a 4 man crew.
just left a msg with sen cornyns office
you can to
9564230162..
respond here if you do please..
thanks
they could have enough road wheels on them to just be towed in about 4 hrs... they can be shipped overseas on that (tracks not needed) and the rest could be fixed by ukr mechanics in ukraine.. no need to do a multi year contract here in the US..
please repost and send to friends

the case for the M2A5 bradley is building...
a new gen of the old M2 is something that should be done in my opinion....

the mature system that we have has proven that it can take out anything on the battlefield, is cost effective, proven, and now back in production. Image
the current turret has been upgraded over the years with a better ISU (sight), BELRF (laser range finder), commanders sight, C2, radios, and armor.

the new TOW Fs are now radio guided and no longer need to have the wire... Image
new turrets can fit anything from a 25,30 or 40mm gun in them... hellfires have been added to the turrets along with stinger pods making the shorad M system Image

something truly amazing is going on here.
from open news about 2 -3 (3-400 troops) companies of the ukr 36th brigade (20% or so of the brigade), with support... are holding out against elements of.... (with at full sized numbers)
810th marine brigade 3000+
404th regiment 2000+
26th regiment 2000+
144th brigade 3000+
BARS (600)
10th SF 1000+
238th VDV regiment 2000+
177th marine regiment 2000+
26th marine brigade 3000+

so at full sized the force attacking the bridge head SHOULD be 19,000 troops.
1. so how bad were the russian losses prior to this?
2. how bad are the losses now?
3. what kind of crazy troops does ukraine have?
Image
810th on telegram saying they don't want to attack any more...

Dear friends, I want to think a little about what is happening in our direction in the village of Krynki.
Having communicated a lot with the soldiers and officers of our brigade, and not only ours, after the daily bloody Senseless assaults on this settlement, in which I was able to personally participate, I come to the conclusion that it is time for the Red Army to change tactics in this direction. Specifically, many officers propose simply cordoning off this area and launching daily artillery strikes on enemy positions on the left bank, preventing him from gaining a foothold. Strike on the right bank, destroying all infrastructure and fortified areas created by the enemy on the opposite bank, while at the same time preventing the enemy’s attempts to deliver reinforcements, ammunition and provisions to our shore. At the same time, it is necessary to apply all counter-battery countermeasures, electronic warfare, anti-electronic warfare, and dismantle all firing points from where fire is being fired at us. At the moment, everything looks like the enemy is simply luring us out under his artillery, in small groups deployed to our shore. We throw several assault squads into the assault, which come under continuous artillery fire, tank fire, kamikaze drone attacks and small arms combat. This is the only way I can explain that we cannot take this piece of land within a month, every day sending more and more new detachments and groups, from which not all return. In addition to everything, there are several connections on our site that perform the assigned task each in their own way, without coordinating their actions with their neighbors. All this together leads to very large losses of the Red Army, mostly wounded, but there are also quite a few dead.
I do not expect the command to hear me, I am simply voicing my opinion, which coincides with the opinion of the officers of our Red Army, that it is time to change tactics and it is no longer for us to storm them, leaving the guys on the battlefield every day, but, on the contrary, to invite the adversary to try to break out of our boiler under heavy artillery fire.
part of this is telling me that this has been a huge trap for russian troops.. and they fell for it.

The question of the hour for people following the war right now
Avdiivka, and the future of it.
Right now no one can tell what will happen there or the future… but we can war game it

Many people are trying to link a avdiivka with the battle of Bakhmut. There are some differences.
1. In the lead up the Russians had far more artillery then they do now
2. The Russians started off with far better troops (lots of VDV)
3. When the VDV was exhausted the Russians turned to wagner.
4. Wagner had nearly everything they needed for the assault
5. Russian airforce was able to fly over the city due to nearly exhausted air defense
6. At the time its estimated that russia had about 10 million rounds of all types on hand
7. Ukraine never fully reinforced Bakhmut and allowed for a fighting rear action to leave the city

Now today…
1. Russia does not have a clear advantage in the number or type of artillery.
2. The Russians are now using more mobilized reserve forces and TD brigades.
3. To this point only a few SPF (SF) troops, and the 13th assault battalion (DPR) have been used with no verified VDV or other high quality troops being seen.
4. On some assaults PT-76s and other out of date vehicles have been seen on the attack.
5. Due to more air defense the Russian airforce has taken high losses around AVD.
6. Russia is having to bring in north Korean rounds to make up for Russian stockpiles being exhausted. The NK rounds are known for being a danger to the crews using them now.
Ukraine has moved into the area 12 brigade sized units to defend the city
Image
What we know right now…
The 1st corps of the Russian army (formaly the 1stcorps DPR) is being used to batter the ukr army holding the city…
87th, 100th, 110th 109th, 114th, rgts of the DPR with the 1st and 9thbrigades, and the 13th assault battalion.
Attached are 5 territorial defense regiments.
From reports the 1st corps is poorly trained and equipped.
From reports this force has taken OVER 10,000 KIA and far more WIA in the battle so far. This is about right when you look at the amount of days in combat, and the amount of verified losses.

Now the Russians are moving up elements of the 2ndarmy, the 6th division, and the 90th division.
Moving more and more lesser quality units up has not had the desired effect of pushing back the ukr forces. This has resulted in FAR higher losses overall per day than Bakhmut.
Image
AVD on the ukr side started out with about 4-5 brigades in the battle area (53, 110, 3SF, presidential, + some battalions attached.). now in the area of the battle the ukr army has moved brigade sized units into the fight (109, 116, 59, 56, 31, 47, 1, 23, 129th, and 10+ battalions). This is a major change from Bakhmut.
Also the ukr forces from what we know have moved in the 15th, 107th, 43rd artillery brigades and the 1039thADA regiment.

From what I have seen it looks like Ukraine is willing to give up the forward line on the south east side and let the Russians come and try and cross the open fields where artillery and mortar fire can wreck troops and vehicles in the open.
For russia to continue to throw forces at this area they will have to continue to pull troops from other parts of the line making weak spots where ukr forces will be able to counter attack into.
Also with this winter supposedly being far colder than last attacking forces will have a rough time of it getting many more KIA, WIA by being in the open exposed to the elements. The weather overall will favor the defenders.

no drainage, no grenade sumps, overhead cover at the wrong areas, no firing steps, everyone can see the gunners ports, nice and flat on top, no cammo.... but ok. no lessens learned from WWI or WWII...

without firing steps you cant shoot out of the trench, that makes this just a death trap..

Image
Image
Image
drainage, when it rains the trench will fill with water, not having duck boards will mean the trench will flood and trench food will set in..

this is something i want to touch upon....
unit sizing and how nothing in the ukr war makes sense any more..
units are still using cold war markings and meanings.. without the pesky real sizes.....

for instance the ukraine 1st tank brigade...
for a long time i have been stating that this "brigade" is far more than what you see and that ukr brigades have had FAR more fire power than people think..
currently the 1st "brigade" has more combat firepower than any russian division...
Image
the battalions have more companies than current russian formations do, and more firepower with less unneeded command that the russians have.
here you can see a normal russian brigade.. fewer battalions, and fewer companies in the battalions... Image

1 of--
this is just why some people need to just.... stop.
they throw something crazy on the web to get clicks and never check with a intel expert to see if what they are saying is even close to being real....
im talking about the linked story.. from @MattWallace888

the truth is that this guy has no idea what he is talking about... and here is why....
208 fighter jets....
well if you count wrecks sitting on a runway that have not flown in years... yes
the syrian airforce has aircraft sitting on runways but many are so old and have not flown in years.. for example ....
Image
for example lets look at them...
the MIG 21,
51.... no radar, few parts, must be guided by air controllers on the ground to intercept any incoming aircraft... most are grounded due to being a 50+ year old aircraft... maybe 10-12 flying... has the stealth outline of a oil tanker

the mig 23
its known for having the oldest radar still flying. its hard to keep flying due to its swing wing configuration and again .... parts. most are permanently grounded or operating at less then steller performance... maybe 20 flying on a good day.

mig 25... yes maybe 2... again 40+ years old... stealth 0, drinks fuel like crazy = limited range

mig 29, but its the mig 29As... some of the early, early migs that everyone in the world retired decades ago... the mig29s that ukraine have are a step up from that the SAF is flying.. sooo maybe 15 or so that can fly. on a good day.

SU-22 40+ year old aircraft that is a mostly air to ground aircraft that like the mig 21 normally has no radar. they are good at shooting unguided rockets at the ground... and still missing. many were taken out by trump about 5 years ago. 39.... no not even close... maybe 20

SU-24... air to ground bomber... in this war it would be a flying target. please fly them so the IAF can get some aces... but really.. the thing should have been retired 20 years ago, and no they are not the upgraded russian versions.
