He writes on how in Islฤm we have History and how what's historical can be easily distinguished from what's not and that we know about the prophet Muแธฅammad๏ทบ just as we know about famous figures like Luther and Milton
In his book "history of the Islamic peoples" page 66 (in my arabic translation of the book) he says the Muslims narrated the actions and sayings of the prophet ๏ทบ with accuracy and in details.
In his book ุชุงุฑูุฎ ุงูุชู ุฏู ุงูุฅุณูุงู ู volume 3 under the heading ุงููุณุงุจูู ุงูุนุฑุจ he praised the accuracy, scrutiny ,and strong memorization of Muslims in regards to their religious narrations
In his book "La civilisation arabe" [the Arab civilization] page 39 [in my arabic translation because i don't know French (: ] he (the professor) talks about how the Ahadฤซth of the prophet ๏ทบ went through much scrutiny to ensure accuracy.

During the battle of the Tabuk, the Prophet ๏ทบ told the companions not to consume any water from the โFountain of Tabukโ until he arrives.
When they arrived they barely found any water at all.

Upon the request of the Prophet ๏ทบ, they collected the water and the Prophet ๏ทบ washed his blessed hands and face with whatever was collected and poured it back.
The fountain then started to gush such that it was sufficient for the entire army!

The Prophet ๏ทบ then turned to Muโadh ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนูู and said,
โO Muโadh, if you live long enough, perhaps you will see this area filled with gardens.โ
