Aspergillosis is "a fungal infection of usually the lung, caused by the genus Aspergillus, a common mould that is breathed in frequently from the air". It's a common infection, and thus the claim the wounded soldiers who suffer from it are the 1st to do so seems unreasonable.

Candidaemia is defined as the presence of Candida species in the blood. This is not a new problem, read what was reported in a 2016 paper about Israelis who were injured by a terror bomb blast.
